There have been a couple Similar topics to this one, the new sidetrack is PSP. Its easier and more fair comparing similar consoles like XBOX360 and PS3, and PSP and Nintendo DS. My devoted vote goes to XBOX360, because of the huge variety of games and big online experience.

Out of those three I would have to say the xbox 360. The PS3 is all about the graphics and really doesn't have very good gameplay in it; however, it does make a decent entertainment set I suppose because it can play blueray. The PSP is really too small to do anything great with it. You can usually only play single player games and that gets old quickly, but you can watch movies on it, but I would say just get an Ipod for that. The xbox 360 has many more features. It is basically a giant media center with the capability to play high-end games. You can link it to your computer and stream movies and music from there or you could just put them onto the xbox. The xbox 360 also has some great games such as Halo3 and the orange box. I like the interface for the main menu too. There are obviously some major downfalls to it too, but that'll just lead me to ranting on microsoft so I'll stop here.

I Agree with t3jem. The 360 right now is much better than the ps3, from the games to the features. Not to even mention the live arcade. All you need in this world in a 360 and MS points(which I wish I had more of....)

Yeah, basically the XBOX 360 for the reasons already mentioned. It's also possibly because it gained the upper hand by releasing a year earlier than the PS3, to allow a more better following with gamers.

besides some statistical comparisons: 360 only plays standard definition DVDs & requires a 100$ extension to play HDDVDs while the PS3 plays Blueray discs right out of the box. The 360 does have it's strangeness, such as it requires an update (online only) to play SSX: on tour, while it will blast through SSX 3 with ease, and other strange backwards compatible kinks, it is VERY easy to use, and has (for me) only frozen a few times, and thats only while loading large files after many many many many many hours of play. also, you get games like Halo 3, Eternal Sonata, Skate [is that for ps3 also?], and ES4: Oblivion & the expansions [ps3 doesn't get the expansions], and tons more. the only scary part is the updates; while updating if power is cut all the software on you 360 gets erased, and when you do disk updates they will shut down suddenly for restart (that scared the crap out of me at first :'-( ) I do like it though, and the controllers feel nicer

Favorite Video Games Characters
From the old NES to the new Xbox360 and PS3 (1) I remember playing the old Zelda games on the NES system and Link was little more then a 8-bit dot
with big ears and a green hat. It really didnt have much of a story plot to it and the characters
weren't really in depth, but it was still fun to play. As the gaming world advanced, graphics
got better and game system held more memory. This gave me a new respect for gaming because Link had
a personally, life like and believable. Metal gear was also one of my favorites. In the old nes game
I really didn't care if I die, it was like "ok whatever Im dead" but in the P....

week. It finally came and I love it. The game play I think is great. Although there isn't that
many missions, I think it is very good. You start off as an outsider and work your way up into the
Corleone mafia family. Then you work through the in game ranks earning respect for shooting other
gang members, robbing banks, extorting people. Extortion: This has to be my favorite thing in
the game. Basically you force the owner of a business into paying protection money....

the bat let me tell you, this game is brilliant. It looks real. Not realistic. REAL. And the

people, im hear to break down Prey, a 360 game that uses the Doom 3 Engine, the only other game out
there that uses it. The gameplay doesn't stand out in ways of attacking and controls. Its just
like Doom 3, lemme put it that way. The graphics of the game change from total space-ship Doom to
nice, home area Doom. The physics in the game are the same as Doom, clearly, and your expecting me
to say it is Doom 3 with a new plot and character. Wrong. The game goes even deeper ....

the truth and the rumors... (9) I have heard many things about this Xbox 360. I have never played any games on the xbox. I
haven't heard anything bad about it. I have heard some things that I don't know if are true
or not because of who was telling me it. Ok, will it be like a tivo? Can I use the internet? What
other great features will it have? If it has the two things stated above and more plus the fact

Playstation 3 Vs. Xbox360

The lowdown on the new systems hidden feature... (4) I recently found out that XBOX360 has a port that lets you import or export mp3s, pics, and video;
but waht is really amazing is that you can buy an attachement for hooking a Sony PSP to the
XBOX360!!! This might put Sony in an odd place because a large portion of the soon-to-be
PS3 owners are going to have the ability to do the same but with a PS3 and PSP( its intended
purpose)... I don't think this will last long though because I am sure that this breaks some
kind of copyright law. More info to come--> ....
