Has that ever happened to you? It kind of bothers me because I dream in only english. Even people
who don't know or I haven't heard them speak in english...they speak in English!
It's their voice but they speak fluent english! It's so bizarre, and I say that because
I'm fluent in Cantonese, too. But I never dream in Cantonese... So ya. So tell me, do you dream

Well for starters, the installer says it all. It took me 75 mins to install and i got a 4 CPU 3.5
gHz processor, the images still have their magenta background and they look like its been drawn on
paint. You go make an application but you dicide its rubbish - so you delete it, and unlike Basic
and C# your project is still listed with no images and the link is broken, so it just wastes space.

At some of our schools in Holland, you can take extra lessons in languages! You can also learn
Chinese now, and it's kinda hard if you only speak dutch. It's also harder for people who
are older, to learn a new language than for children....

Well for the past month or so I have been working on a Programming Competition project in AP
Computer Science. Some may know I am quite fancy with graphics and HTML but yes, I do program too.
But man, even though I am decent at it, it bores the crap out of me. Well being the project leader I
do most all of the work and I just use the two other members for support and error testing. We
receive a packet with our project problem in it. Make a fully functional support site for a company.

Hello friends this its the basic question which strikes every computer engineer when they are in
their acadecmic studies. They start to program and some really love it and some hate it . It is not

Hello, I'm starting to play with web design and stuff and would like a recommendation from this
knowlegeable forum on what is a good server side programming language. I've got some experience
in Java running PC-based applications but that's pretty much it, never done applets or anything
else. Also have been playing with perl and php. My use will be primarily creating records that will

I've been doing game programming for years with VB. But I've done it different ways that are
crappier and would not be used for more professional game programming. I've got this book that
does directx game programming for visual basic .net. So now I'm going to start that. Has anyone

I am creating a webs interface to a database which as you would imagine allows the user to search
the database for soemthing, and on submitting search the results are shown. So far i have done this
in just one .cgi program. I know i could have write 2 seperate programs to accomplish this task- i.e
one passing parameters to another. My question is this- I'm going to have to make all the search
results in a way such that you click on one and you display all the info on that particular result.
But is it good practice to say have multiple .cgi files with them all linked ...

I have noticed that XML is in the HTML forum when XML is used for storing data, not actually

Hi, I was wondering if there is a possibility in the PHP Date function to let it display the date in
other languages (probably not, but I thought I'd ask). I know that 'D' gives you
'Sun', 'Mon', etc. and 'l' gives you 'Sunday', 'Monday',
etc. Is there any provision for letting it display something like eg. 'Zon', 'Maa',
etc., or 'Zondag', 'Maandag' etc. ? It would be handy for people (like me) who have
a multilingual web site. Thanks in advance....
