| | Does anyone have a clue as to why my outgoing email isn't working with Outlook express? I can get incoming mail, but I'm getting an error when I try to send email. I followed the configuration instructions, but it still isn't working correctly. I get an error everytime. |

Please give us more details about the error that you are facing. Copy paste the error message.

Try going to tools > accounts > your email account (double click) > connection > then UNcheck the box that says always connect to this account using: OR tools > accounts > your email account (double click) > servers > CHECK my server requires authentication > then click the box saying log on using then fill it out using these EXACT things without the qutations "YOURUSERNAME+DOMAINNAME.com" or .trap17.com whatever you have then your password in the password box Example boozker+mykikasswebsite.com Does this work?

I recently created an e-mail address for a friend on my computer. I had made a mistake on the address information so I deleted it from my Comcast and from Outlook Express and then created the right address. Now when I log on to Outlook Express to check my mail, I get a pop-up wanting me to sign into the deleted account. I cancel that and then get the error message as follows- (There was a problem logging onto your mail Server. Your Password was rejected. Account: ''mail.Comcast.Net'', Server: ''mail.Comcast.Net'', Protocol: POP3, Server Response: ''-ERR Login failed'', Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 0x800CCC90, Error Number: 0x800CCC92) I have contacted my provider with no results, checked OE database, even check my virus program and can't find anywhere on my computer where I can get rid of this. Does anyone have detailed steps I can try to get rid of this pop-up? Thanks -question by Mary

Replying to msdeevaI was just talking to my web hosting site, they use pop mail, (webmail) And once outlook takes the mail you cannot dirrectly send it back. You can forward the email one at a time though. That is wheat I had to do. This is what happened to me! My outet express downloaded from my personal website and I wanted it send back. Telus and host could not help, misrosoft may have a fix but have not went to them as of yet! -reply by Daniel

Backup Not Working [resolved]
(5) I am trying to backup my files on my account(in preparation for the next server disaster), and I am
unable to download it. In my CPanel I goto the back-up screen to generate a full backup. Once
that's done and its ready to be downloaded, It only downloads to 13% or 50mb before stopping.
With and without a download manager. It doesn't help that resume is not supported in download
managers. I have too many files on my account to backup with an FTP client, that would take hours
and hours. What can I do to get a backup of my account?....
File Manager Not Working
(2) When I goto upload files using the file manager(legacy mode), the files do not upload correctly.
Every time I try to upload a file, it takes the time to upload it, but the file always comes out
being 0kb so it does not upload the file. Why is this happening?....

comment form. After filling in the form the user gets a confirmation email and I get an email to
tell me someone filled in the form, and showing me the data that were filled in. First of all, I

user still gets his/her confirmation and thank you email, but, instead of my email address, the

The Capitalization Filter
Problems with it (0) I've noticed that on a lot of topics, The topic's title has been maimed a little, like in
the case of "Guitar Hero Iii" or "Php And Mysql Question". The current world filter decapitalizes
all but the first letter of the word, which is capitalized. This is a problem, and although the
capitalization filter is good, I've proposed a few corrections: 1. For words that begin with a

Strange Site Problems
(2) This morning i ran out of credits, but I immediately got them back up to 7. All day I've been
trying my site, and it keeps timing out, and on the odd occasion comes up with a MySQL error. I was
just able to login to my cpanel, and my space usage was 550mb. Yesterday is was approximately 256mb,
and i didnt upload anything. I had to delete files to get it back down to 470, but I cant find what
has made it so big. Now I get a MySQL error on my forum. What do I do?....

My Subdomain Not Working

Problems With Ftp Access
(1) Well topic title says its all I have problem with ftp access to my account here on trap17 so if
anyone has experienced similar issues lately. The problem is when I try to log on it disconnects me
from the server. I am using filezilla however I have tried to access trough file manager and it
works fine though it is not the same protocol. I must admit I have deleted some folders recently
however I am quite certain that it is all connected to the joomla installation and not some system

Problems After Changing Domain
(14) Hi, i have recently bough a top level domain from GoDaddy.com and now I am having a few problems
with it. I first changed the domain name with the domain name changer scirpt thing here at trap and
then i set the nameservers at godaddy. It told me that this can take up to 48 hours but i think
