| | I am getting real frustrated. Everything seems to work on Safari and FireFox but when it comes to IE, it just simply doesn't. I am tried for a good 2 hours now, and I really do not know what is causing the problem. Could you please have a look? Here is my site (not completed yet)

it works fine in ie7... i am assuming you are talking about the hover effect of the menu bar, and if that is the issue then yes, it does work on ie7. i dont have ie6 so i wouldnt know. i am a firefox fan, and i can also confirm it works on firefox 2.0.1.3.

Can you describe the problem better than "it simply doesn't work". IE6 doesn't do png images properly and your header is a png image. There is a javascript solution for that, in case that is the issue.

The problem was when I hovered the menu, the border below jumps. I haven't got to fixing the PNG problem yet. Sorry about that, I have already fixed the problem. Now I have another problem and that my content div height is not extending to the bottom of my content. Could you take a look? I have already set my height to 100% on the body, html and #content. Same website as above. Thanks in advance.

I have already set my height to 100% on the body, html and #content. using FF2, take the height : 100 % off of the content. the 100% declaration says the content should be 100% of the "viewport" (window or Monitor). Instead, let the content flow to its natural length. if anything, use min-height to fill the display on short pages/. I'll have a look at the menu now, again, b ut it worked fine in IE last time I checked. Please specify the Browser you see the problem in. Thanks. *edit* had a look in FF2, FF3b5, IE 5.5,6,7,8. The menus all worked fine, so I cannot replicate the problem.

http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=http%3A%...ine&group=0check your page on validator its got some miss match tags which I suspect is causing your clears not to work properly. I know for a fact miss match tags screws up CSS layouts so it might pay to try and correct any layout errors and see if that helps. Its the first step anyway.

Problem With Menubar
I have a problem: I'm making a site with javascript dropdown menubar. It has a background image, because the colour alone would be boring. It all worked fine and looked good with Firefox and Safari, but IE shows the menubar white! No background at all. The image is on .Jpg form. I've treid adding "position: relative;" but it had no effect. I tested it on IE6 and IE7, but doesn't work on either one.. :( It works fine with only a bg-color, but when adding the image it shows all wrong. And there's also a white "flash" when entering the submenus by hover..Dunno where it's from either.. Can you help me? -reply by Tiina

sometimes the buttons will load the wrong link. (7) Its weird but sometimes when you hit the forums or roster button on my flash banner it will load:

Problem With Time/date On My Computer
(6) This strange issue has been happening to me recently. I notice that when I shut down my computer,
and then start it up the next time, the time and date of my computer remains the same as that of the
time and date that I shut down my computer, and it continues from that time and date until I adjust
it manually myself. For example, if I shut down my computer on 3 May 2008, 10pm, even when I switch
on my computer on 4 May 2008 9am, the date and time shows 3 May 2008, 10 pm. I don't understand

Gamma Servers' Problem
This topic is for all who have their account on Gamma Server & ha (1) Okay I see a lot of chaos all around and my site zoebelkin.co.cc is still down. Everything including
FTP, CPanel etc are down. My site is on the gamma server. I see that all the servers are moved
around a lot and the IP blocks also changing. So what is the new IP set for 'gamma'. When
doing a reverse check on gamma I see it is still assigned to it's previous IP but when I'm
trying to access the previous IP's port 80 then I get a Server not found error. Also the
gamma.xisto.com name for the server fails to open the default Apache page which it used to ....

Cannot access my sub domains (10) Hi, I am having some serious problems with my sub domains. I registered a site with trap17 named

Rpg Maker 2003 Music Problem
(1) I have been working with RPG Maker 2003 and I have run into a problem. When I open the BMG tab I
try to listen to music. However, when I click play nothing happens. I have the Rtp file with the
standard midis in it. But they just wont play. The WAV files included do play. The only way they
seem to play is if I put all of the files into my windows media player. Once the first song has
played and as long as the player is running I can listen to songs via the RM2K3 program. However,
if I stop the player or mute the player I can't hear them on the program. I'....
Two Lan Ports Problem
cant connect to counter-strike server (1) here....i think i know the problem...but i cant find the solution.... I use windows XP SP 2 ...Asus
motherboard.. I use integrated Ethernet port (NVIDIA nforce controller) to connect to the hostel LAN
and used the same connection to get internet (using proxy). I played counter-strike without any
problem... Everything worked fine until i took a direct ADSL internet connection... So i installed

Problem With My External Hard Disk
(3) I have a Sony VAIO 100GB External Hard drive that has recently been acting up. I got it from eBay

A Small Html Problem
How to display foreign characters correctly when designing a site. (4) I was wondering how I could solve a small problem. I was told that some people see accented and
umlauted letters (such as " é " and " ë ") as question marks (" ? ") on my website. I come across
the same thing sometimes when looking at websites which use non-English characters. Funnily enough,
the other day, I looked at a site and the apostrophy ( ' ) was also shown as a question mark.
That is a very common character usually, I would think. I thought it had something to do with the
character encoding settings, and let me also mention I use Mozilla Firefox as my brows....
Dandruff Problem
(27) I am a average built, Indian, Male, aged 20 person. I have a very serious problem with the
dandruff. It comes back within an hour after taking a head bath. It is bothering me a lot. It is
very itching and really irritating. I have tried applying lemon on my head but in vain. The dandruff
still comes back. My mom advised me not to apply lemon too much on head so I have stopped applying
that also on head. I went to a doctor and he asked me to shampoo hair with a medicated shampoo

It Wont Read Anything! (7) Recently my DVD drive was playing everything, today i put a dvd disk in, it says nothing comes up
with no auto play or nothing loads at all. so i go to my computer and load from there, it dont load.

Problem Installing Sims 2 Nightlife
update failure (23) I have the Sims 2. I tried to install Sims 2 Nightlife expansionpack. He reches 100 % with
installing the game...then he automatically run the updat for the sims 2. But when he's going
trough the files he stops st the file: CSBin/package.exe He says there is a error, and then when I
