hi i am starting this topic so that all can share their experiences in practical exams ,especially UNIX PRACTICALS EXPERIENCE. It all started in the 5the semester of my engg. course. I had the subject Unix and its practicals. I enjoyed all through the semester without studying for the practicals and i had 12 exercises . The first 6 exercises were Shell Programming and the other 6 were C programming in UNIX. So it was the time of my model practicals . i prepared well to the maximum possible for the exam and appeared for the exam, but the only defect was that i did not practice for the exam. Just i studied and went. I entered into the LAB for my models . i received the question paper and i started reading the questions. I just had 2 questions in that , one was from shell programming and the other was in C. I know for sure that writing the shell program is comparitevely easy when compared to the c programming . To my luck i had a easy shell programming. The question was to find the sum of the prime number series. I started with the program well. But in between i had a doubt whether 1 is a prime number or not. I assumed 1 to be prime number and then i did the program. Unfortunately my assumption was wrong.1 was not a prime number. So i didn't get both my output in the models. When i came out of my model exam i decided to study well for my UNIX university practical .And the univ prac . was on 03/11/2007.I decided to study the previous night . The previous Night came and i opened my book. Now i thought that i should not do the same mistake which i did in my models of not practicing for my exam ,so i decided and i started working out for my practicals , I slept only at 4:30 in the morning . i had prepared to the maximum level possible and i went to the LAB main practicals in the following day . My batch was from 10:00 to 1:00, that day i didn't have my break fast and i went. I went into the lab. the external examiner was there and i took the question paper , To my surprise i got the paper easy. The 1st program was Shell and the question was to find the PALIANDROME of the given string. I was the first one to show the output for the shell program in my batch, Then i started with the second program. The question was C programming in UNIX and it was to create pipe and to create 5 process and 2 pipes and to make inter process communication. I started off well with that program too , inititally i had errors, but i managed to correct it and got the output Then i realised that , Even though NOBODY IS PERFECT , PRACTISE MAKES ONE PERFECT I realized that .

My Own Experience
(1) Hello there everybody, I'd like to tell you guys about my own experience over the past year
where I lost the bad weight and gained some quality weight... A year ago I was 75 kg, I had some
muscles on my body but too much fats as well. I joined the gym at the end of the street and started
going there regularly. I started my weight lifting training with little weights because I do not
want to build up muscles fast but in an incorrect way. So during the first 2 to 3 months, I've
dropped to 65 kg losing much of the fats on my body. I could clearly notice the differen....
My New England Moose Hockey Stats
My Experience as a Hockey Goalie (2) This is my younger brother posting about his hockey team's statistics for the season: My games
have been challenging as a goaltender for the New England Moose. My dad says I am one of the best
goalies in the league. I have made many saves throughout my career. My best save of the season was
a breakaway three on zero and I stoned the kids with a butterfly slide. My goals against average is
3.2083. I used to have a 2.0349 goals against average, but I had a really bad game where the score
was fifteen to six. I think it because my team stayed up all night at a hot....

Out-of-body Experience
Out-of-body experience(OBE or OOBE) (1) Yesterday I watched a documentry in T.V. there they were showing about Out-of-body experience. It
said as This is an experience that involves a sensation of floating outside of one's body. Can
this be possible. Don't you guys think that this is just an illusion that we see because we want
to experience this kind of sensetion in real world. e.g. like there is a person who want to see the
whole world but cannot go anywhere since he/she got some problem. so just to fullfill his/her dream

Rosacea
Anyone have experience with a good treatment? (0) I was recently diagnosed with rosacea and I'm investigating possible treatment options. My
dermatologist gave me something called MetroGel and told me to use it twice a day... she then said I
wouldn't see any difference for about a month. I thought there must be something better, so I
starting asking friends if they had any experience with it. One person suggested a cream made by
Norad, which she says was effective within just a few days. Another person suggested something
called Finecea made from azeliac acid, but I've yet to find any information about....

Paranormal Activity
Ever had a paranormal experience? (17) Have you ever experienced something of a paranormal nature? Dictionary.com says Paranormal is
QUOTE of or pertaining to the claimed occurrence of an event or perception without scientific
explanation, as psychokinesis, extrasensory perception, or other purportedly supernatural phenomena.
Basically, something that happens without a scientific explanation. Or I just call it "spooky
goings on" The nearest I've got to a paranormal experience was about a year ago. I was walking
on a path that led up to a bridge over the canal, on my way to school. The path I was w....
Anyone Have Experience With Autocockers? (paintball)
(3) I own an '04 Prostock Autococker, and it's quite fun. However, I have a couple of
questions: 1.) The Prostock features a Delrin bolt, which supposedly does not need any lubricants
of any kind. Kind of makes me iffy on that little factoid, as all moving parts should be lubed up.
The catch to this is that supposedly if you do lube it up, the bolt swells and the marker will
consequently have a hard time cycling. Anyone know what to do here? 2.) I just played with this gun
recently, and in one game the marker completely locked up on me. Trying to fire it would res....

Sixth Sense Experience
Has something like this ever happened to you? (10) I am going away for a while and thought I would leave this for everyone to ponder. This is a
true story, written by me, about my experience after my mother passed away. If you have had a sixth
sense experience, please add it to this post so I can read about it when I get back. Mother's
Journey It was a gorgeous sunshiny day in June, late in the afternoon, when we took Mother's
cremated remains to the Odd Fellow's Cemetery in Sacramento, California. As we walked to the
grave site I noticed the handsome redwoods stood reverently, as if out of resp....

My Experience, With Chickens
How to raise them, ect. (5) Hey all you forum members. I would like to tell you a little about raising chickens and my
experience with them, and would like to ask anyone if they have stories or experiences with them. I
hope this is okay to post about mods. Raising chickens is quite easy if you have done research on
them. I have raised them for about four years now, and here is the basic steps and info about them:
1. Profile: They are great animals, and although not always the cleanest, they do have a nice look
to them. They strut around the yard as if they own it. Most chickens don't l....
How Not To Hook Up With A Girl.
Awful dating/party experience. (8) For the longest time, I would spend my weekends at my cousin's house. One thing about their
house on the weekend is that there's constantly partying, and always a lot of people there. My
older brother (who was 23 at the time. I'm 16) took me, like usual. I was just hanging out
with 2 of my cousins, and several of my younger cousin's friends. We were talking about school,
and I said something about my highschool, when one of the guys, who was 16 like m, looks at me and
says, "Wait a minute...you're in highschool?" "Yes." I replied, a bit annoyed ....
What Do You Like Best About Your School/college?
;) share your experience. (22) What do you guys like best about your schools/ colleges?? I wanna talk about the school in which I
did my A-level. I think what I liked best about the school was the tutors and their small classes.
The maximum number of students in each class is limited to only 8. And we all receive extensive
care, attention....and tutors there are not only tutors, they are like friends and also parents.
We had a lot of fun in class.....and we also learn things very well as a result of having small
classes. When I was having problems with anything ....e.g. when I need a dentist (I....
