| | Hi Happy New Year everybody.
I'm trying to make use of this function in Wordpress - http://codex.wordpress.org/Blog_by_Email
It requires me to set up an email account with POP3 access and then refresh this page http://mywebdomain/wordpressinstalldir/wp-mail.php to display the email as a blogpost.
I have done the above steps, except that when I access the wp-mail.php file to get my blog refreshed, I get the following error messsage:
POP3 connect: Error [220-eta.xisto.com ESMTP Exim 4.68 #1 Tue, 01 Jan 2008 07:40:38 -0800 ]
Is this a technical error with the server or is it my blog setup?
FYI, the blog is installed on an addon domain, not my main domain that is hosted with CH, so the mail server is different from the domain the blog is located at. I don't know if this is also a cause of the error.

The username for accessing the pop mail is your email address itself. I guess, you are trying to PIPE the messages in your mailbox into your Blog. You can achieve this by E-Mail piping using the EMAIL ALIAS function in CPanel->Mail. -Shree

Hi thanks for the reply. I used the email address as the username and the password as the password. The way it works is that the wp-mail.php will access the email account using the username and password and retrieve the message and then post it on the blog. But I don't quite get what you mean by piping the email with Cpanel. How do I do that? Thanks

Sites Down After The Upgrade
Server not found error (8) This is regarding the support ticket RZS-462155. I believe all the servers went offline when the
upgrade/migration was being performed. Early my morning, I was told that it would return to normal

New Account, Bad Cpanel Password And More! [resolved]
(4) Just signed up for a new account today. I pointed my recently purchased domain( gone84.com) to
computinghost nameservers as soon as i got my confirmation email, i tried to log in to cpanel and
the password didnt work. I opened a ticket, i posted in the forum and i contacted live support
multiple times. At one point, my domain name was actually pointed to the empty folder that the ip in
the confirmation email stated was mine. Now, the IP comes up as 404. My cpanel password doesnt work
and the ip leads nowhere. Not very good for the first day of service i would say. Is any....
How Do I Update My Billing Information?
(1) I'm trying to check/update the billing information for my account, but cannot find how to do so.
There does not seem to be anywhere in my client area to update them. However, I would not be
comfortable with e-mailing my card details to the billing department in case the e-mail happens to
get intercepted by a third party. Can someone please tell me how I go about checking which card I

Php Parser Error After Php 5 Update.
(13) I couldn't believe my eyes today, I log on to my web-page at school and NONE OF THE PHP HAS BEEN
PARSED OUT!!! I saw the raw php code. This is a major security issue since many
passwords for SQL etc... are stored directly in PHP, and it allowed people to see and possibly even
steal my php code! Why did this happen? How did this happen? Will it ever happen again? I

Folders In Your Account
Which is what? (3) Hi, I'm new to the web hosting scene... I was just wondering what all the folders in your
account are for. There seems to be 8 folders already created for you: .cpanel-datastore

explaination of each that would help me alot. And which folder are you supposed to put all your

Cpanel Error
(3) My cpanel says i have 5120mb of bandwidth and 180mb of space, I just went to Computing host with the
biggest package, so the cpanel should say I have 99,900mb of bandwidth and 5.4gigs of space. Is this

(1) I went to log into my forums to make a backup and they wouldnt load. Afterwards, i tried to check
the cpanel, but it won't even load now either. is the server messed up? My blog is also down,

Database downtime (4) Hi Admin(s), Kindly update us with the downtime. I've been experiencing downtime quite
regularly while my site in trap17 hardly goes down at those given time when the site hosted in
computinghost experience the same. The site isn't opening. Most of the time the problem seems
to be database, while the uptime for html files are much better than the database driven site.

Addon Domains And Their Email Addresses
Email address of Addon & Parked domains (4) In Cpanel it says to verify that the Addon Domains feature is enabled on the account prior to doing
the addon. So, is this feature available? I've looked around and haven't really found an
answer. What I'm hoping to do (and what the Addon Domain feature seems to do) is to assign
different domains to a different subdomains of my primary domain. Such as assigning altdomain.com
to alt.maindomain.com. I know I can do this with domain forwarding through my registrar, but
I'd rather stay away from forwarding. Okay, that leads me to two related questions: ....

Cannot customize them (6) In order to customize my custom error pages, I click on those particular error pages and I edited by
inserting html code for error page and saved it. Cpanel responded that the page is saved, however if
I type anything which is not found within my pages the custom error pages I've created were not
