My favs are: phpBB Design has a mario theme here just scroll a little down, it's calles MarioBlue phpBB styles Theme DataBase Peace
i dont wanna use much templete nor skin.. just subSilver is good enough for me..
yah, both phpbb style and design site are good enough to find skins/templete.. my choice of skin will be MorpheusX from style and their extreme style mod is one of the best mod for templete.. for mod hack, also try on sourceforge dot net also... there are some hidden good mod over there... for the best already moded/hacked phpbb can be find on przemo and mx-system. just explore out!! 
Also you can get several here www.phpbbhacks.com you can also get alot of mods/ hacks for your forums there, it has alot of themes though, like 540 I think...

that mario design looks quite good but the only problem is that some of the buttons have been replaced by text and some of the buttons with have the text written in french and my site is English
