I presume you are trying to install lots of things to just www.username.trap17.com? I would create a direcory called 'forums' and install your forums there. It will make the installation easier and make the site easier to manage.

If you have decided that you want your main url to be the forum then you should remove the other script you installed. But if you have not installed any scripts to your main directory then sometimes the only thing you need to do it delete the index placeholder file and then it will install. If you want to keep the page you already have on your main url then take the suggestion above and add a folder called forums or something like that and install there.

Fantastico And Cpanel Skin Problem.
(1) I changed my domain from tf2maps.trap17.com to fearclan.trap17.com recently, and when I did,
everything was working fine, except cpanel became really ugly with this rvblue skin that I
couldn't change, and fantastico and phpmyadmin weren't working. Can I get my skin changed

Can't Find My Fantastico Installation!
Where is the files I installed (2) Before anyone points it out, I searched this forum for similar topics and couldn't find any, I
checked the FAQ's and couldn't find any one of them that addresses my problem: I just
installed joomla in a sub directory (public_html/Joomla) and I wanted to change some stuff so I went
into my FTP program and connected to my account, I checked, doubled checked and triple checked all
the public html/FTP/WWW folders and I couldn't find the joomla installation, the site come up
fine in browser but I can't seem to find the directory of where it is located, t....

(4) I know people ask alot especially the last few months, but is it ever going to come back.. Yes its
better to upload and install all the programs directly from the sites and get the updated versions..
but fantastico was so easy especially when i used it to run a quick test site for certain things.

(4) Well I've just registered a free hosting account today and first I had a problem logging into my
cPanel but it's okay now. And now after I logged into my cPanel, when I try to use fantastico I
get this error: QUOTE Not Found The server was not able to find the document
(./frontend/rvblue/fantastico/index.php) you requested. Please check the url and try again. You
might also want to report this error to your webhost. cpaneld/11.2.2 Server at

Can't Install Phpbb!
Help! (21) I am getting very frustrated as I cannot for the life of me figure out how to install phpbb
completely. I've uploaded all the files using FTPSmart. I think clicked on the install.php
fine, and was taken to the screen where I fill everything out. It says I successfully did all that:

Fantastico Problem
Exactly as the name says (32) Ok everytime i click on fantastico i get 404 error page. It says it cannot be found. Can someone
tell me if trap17 have got rid of it or if there is a problem with my account. Thanks....
Database Connection Problem
phpBB2 installation error (5) *edit* Ok well the original problem has been solved. I have installed phpBB2 on my new how here.
Transfered all of the database files over. On my new forums all of the old posts and everything
shows up right. The problem is when I click the "Go to administration panel" at the bottom it links
me to log into my ACP on my old forums. It changes the url and all. If I hover over the link it
says that it will be directed to the right way, the way I want, but it doesn't. Does anyone
know anyway to fix this?....

Fantastico anywhere! Does anyone know how to get to it! I just now checked the Trap17
homepage and it definitely says that it includes Fantastico 2 (see partial screenshot, taken April

Wordpress Installation Error [resolved]
Anything to change in the wp-config.php file? (3) I've chosen to install WordPress manually and things were going well so far...until I hit an
installation error when I tried to run the install.php file on my browser. For the record, I
logged into CPanel and went into MySQL Databases, created the databases, the username and added the
user to the database - as suggested in the installation procedure. Perhaps there's a mistake in
my wp-config.php file that might've caused the error. If there's something I should change,

forum login problems (3) hello! first of all im not sure if the fantastico problems should be posted here but i guess

ago and set the admin name and password during the install steps, once it was installed i followed

Unable To Change Style In Phpbb Forum
help me (6) I uploaded a new style for my PhpBB forum through FTP. Then I installed the style in the PhpBB
Admin. Panel. But in the Style Management section I am not able to change the style. I can see both

A Few Things
phpbb question as well as .zip question (4) First of all, I was wondering how i could go about creating a log-in section, and using the phpbb
logins (forum names and passwords) and making it protect a certain area of my site, as i would hate
to have 2 different logins for the forum and the site... basically, im looking for something that
allows you to log into the forum without going to the forum, and when ur logged in on the forum, it
also allows you to go to a different area, outside of the forum. Secondly, is it possible to
create a .zip file with php directly on the hosting server?....
Shout_box_v8.5.2 Installation Problem
(2) i downloaded this file for my php site...and it didnt work for me because the files i installed in
there couldnt link together correctly...there are 3 folders a sql, Public_html and Conversion tool
in the shoutbox file i just downloaded...i installed all the folders into my server...then i tried
adding the block and activating my shoutbox block and shout module....but they didnt quite work
because they had to communicate with the stuff in the sql folder....this was a problem becuase my
phpnuke stuff is all in a folder called "nuke" which is in my Public_html folder....s....

install it fully when i got this error message An error occurred trying to update the database
