Suddenly today whenever I visit a topic rather than displaying ther posts one after the other it
just shows the first port and the like a file directory underneath it e.g POST GOES HERE then
under it there is post goes here | Reply 1 | Reply 2 anyone help if you can
it will be much appreciated, I wonder if I changed a setting by accident ...

As the name implies, I think it would be a good idea to giving those who aren't really "mod
savvy" a chance to look at what phpBB's could look like with some regular mods installed. If
this thread is innappropriate I'll be glad to delete it away or rather, I give permission to
have it deleted if it isn't appropriate....

I am getting very frustrated as I cannot for the life of me figure out how to install phpbb
completely. I've uploaded all the files using FTPSmart. I think clicked on the install.php
fine, and was taken to the screen where I fill everything out. It says I successfully did all that:

Hello! I was just wondering how I go about installing the phpbb forum on my site. I assume I
go somewhere from the CPanel? I think someone told me that the CPanel has something that installs

One is one I think everyone is getting. I tried to submit a support request but it says I have to
define a language. I click the button and I get a WHW error or something. Then it redirects me back
to the main page. Then at the bottom of the sumbit request page is says that this feature has not

I am moving my phpBB2 forums from my old host, my-php.net, to this one. I have full access to my old
forums. I was wanting help on this to make sure nothing goes wrong. My forum members and I can not
risk having to lose all of our current information. So what I am thinking I have to do is. Export
my forums mySQL database with phpmyadmin. Import it into my database here on this host. Move the
forum directory to this sites ftp account. Change the root directory in my forum settings. I know
there has to be some things I have to change right? Some files or other settings...

Hi there Im having a nasty issue with accesing the forums when javscript is enabled in my browser,
both in IE6 and the latest FF, at the moment JS is off which is why im able to post this. Basically
when i access the forums the forums shw for a split secnd and then are replaced by a blank page with
a link saying "Click to show/hide »" with the url f that link being whatever page i wass trying to
get, with a hash, eg trap17.com/forums/# and if i click that link it just repeats with the forums
than this blank page. Any ideas what it is? I dont see how it could be my sid...

Ok, i am hosted here and i am trying to get the phpBB2 forums installed on my site. I have made a
database, i have uploaded all of the folders to the FTP. Now everytime i try to start the install,
it either says that there is a critical error, and that i have configured something wrong. Does
anybody know the Database Type i need to use? And any other help that you could tell me would be

I am trying to put php forums on my site. I think the only ones around are these
http://www.phpbb.com correct? even if there not they seem to be what most people use. I currently
have proboards which deffinelty leaves alot to be desired. What I am wondering is after i download
the forums and upload them via ftp. Where do i upload them to? the Public_html folder? and if so
can i edit and/make boards and categoirs etc just from being an admin on those forums or do i need

I uploaded a new style for my PhpBB forum through FTP. Then I installed the style in the PhpBB
Admin. Panel. But in the Style Management section I am not able to change the style. I can see both

First of all, I was wondering how i could go about creating a log-in section, and using the phpbb
logins (forum names and passwords) and making it protect a certain area of my site, as i would hate
to have 2 different logins for the forum and the site... basically, im looking for something that

I can never get enough (any, hehe) members for my forums, I'm wondering why. My forums are

Guys i was trying to install a phpbb modded forum, i followed this tutorial i had, and was about to
install it fully when i got this error message An error occurred trying to update the database
Table 'phpbb_admin_nav_module' already exists If anyone could tell me how to fix this it

I installed Phpbb forum on trap17 hosting with the help of Fantasico thing.Its very great but the
problem is that , anyone can post there , i mean even Not registered members can post there and the
forum doest even tell him/her that you need to sign in before you post , i want to remove this thing

Well i Got my forums working again however. I was wondering if there is any way to have a fast
