Why must we post to this forum for get a free space in trap17 ??? ...

I hope this is the right place for this. I tried searching a couple of different ways, but
didn't find anything. I guess this would be for an admin, but if anybody knows the answer.... I
saw an e-book I wanted to download from the forum, everytime I try to, I get a board message telling
me something about I don't have access for this. What do I have to do to be able to download
attachments from the forums?...

I am going to get hosted again in the near future. i do not feel like going through that hassle of a
home page and stuff. I was wondering what is the best forum that can be installed from Fantastico in
the Cpanel. In your opinion which is the best. I have already tried phpbb and i liked it. But i
would also like to know about any other ones that might be good. If you have an example of one of
the other forums please leave a link so i may check it out. Thanks....

Well, at first I couldn't install phpbb(I finnally did) then I could not install the themes (I
finally did) Now I cannot install the mods that I would like because of the very complicated steps
it takes, I read it off the phpbb website. So now I'm wondering if there is anybody anywhere
willing to install me some mods? There is a few that I want.... EzPortal Cash Mod And a mod that
you can write stuff along the top of the forum, like messgaes. The reward will be either (A

Hi, I've just created a new forum.. I've also create many test accounts to make sure my
groups are working with its permissions. Now these test accounts takes up "member number". When I
remove these test account, the "member number" don't seem to reset, instead it keeps raising..
So in the end, there's a huge gap in member number before the next real member. I'm
wondering anyone knows how to reset this member number thing so the gaps are removed. Board is
Invision version 1.3...

and WOW. Would you believe what a long way we have come with the main page and stuff. Also the
quality, if I had seen the main page back in 2001 or 2002 before July 25... it looked bad and looked

Ok, I need help with this, I tried to use mods to detetmine it, but there still pretty even, IPB
wins there, but newer versions of PHPBB will remain free, and mods will stop soon for IPB 1.3...

I've made all sorts of online friends in the past, and I got bored and just moved on. Now
there's a new group and I just don't know. Maybe it's because I've spent this

Hello all, I will soon be looking at some paid web hosting. I loved every minute of being with
Trap17 and I would like to say that I will not be leaving the forums. I enjoy reading some of the
material on this site and I have adopted it as one of my often visited communities. Also, a big
thanks goes out to buffaloHELP for helping me when I made a mistake and approving me for hosting.

While browsing the trap17 forums today, two things strike me as weird. While I was hanging around
the forum index, I get a popup from a website , which my browser claims came from this website. But
since when did Trap17 use pop-up advertising? At the same time, the following error message

Ok, well I am developing a Kings of Chaos modification for phpBB. I need help designing the actual

Is there any chance of having either: http://www.phpbbhacks.com/download/248 or
http://www.phpbbhacks.com/download/2331 this hack installed? The first one would allow
moderators to lock a topic as they post. Saving the trouble of going back to it after posting.
The second allows you to move a topic at the same time as you lock it (ideal for account creators).
Thoughts?...

It seemed like a good idea to me that when FNH officially merges, this forum should be cleaned up.
With this I mean getting all non stickied posts out of the way, because the forum is filling up too
much now (my opinion), what do you think?...

I understand that this is a heavily modded forum but wouldn't it be better if u update the version
to PHPBB2.0.13 or u just wait so some mods will be out for 2.0.13. I updated my forum with my friend
yesterday and except of the security fixes which we can't c i think it's a bit faster....
