Hello all, I am going to set up phpBB on my site. Take a look at: http://www.phpbb2.de/electronics-template.php They have all sorts of templates there that you can download for a fee. What I want to know is this: How would I go about integrating one of these templates into phpBB? Is this a monumental task? I want to set up a site and phpBB seems cool, but I'm not sure what will be entailed in trying to integrate one of these templates. Thanks!

1. Download Template from website
2. Unpack them (if needed)
3. Upload to ftp to the Template subdirectory in ppBB catalog
4. Enter to the Admin panel on ppBB site
5. Activate\Load Uploaded Template
6. Change to new template in User Settings or set new template as default in Admin Panel Options

Did you look at the link? These are not normal themes here.....do not think it will work like that.

Why shouldnt it? Most templates work the same. Also, I advise you not to buy a theme as there are plenty free ones out there.

Those templates are not phpBB templates (And they are not free)! You can't use them for your forum... Try http://www.phpbb.com/styles/ , I think that you will find a skin there that will fit your needs.

that easy, you can upload the templates to you forum's template directory. then, go to administration panel, style, add, you will present a list of templates you have place in template directory, click on add for each one you like to added to database. finally, go to general setting to config default style or let user select his own.

Like the people above me, I say that it's better to get a free template, especially if you don't have anything special on your forum. You got stuff on phpbbhacks, like mentioned above. Oh, all you do is add upload the template in your phpbb tempates folder with your FTP uploader. Simple as that.
