Err.. I do not know if this is what you are looking for but www.w3schools.com has a whole tutorial for PHP and other languages. I think it gives you some examples of easy scripts that you could try and they teach you a lot but I doubt they will teach you enough php to you know, create your own message board source code. I learned some php there, all the HTML I know, and a bit of JavaScript there.

Thanks, I will try that and a few other sites my friends told me about (now if only i could remember which ones they were...) And i dont need anything as complicated as a whole forum code, just need to learn the simplicities of php and mysql

Php Scripts On The Computer?
(5) I was wondering if this is possible or not, running php scripts from your computer. So, no internet
connection is required. I think I saw a topic about running an Invision Power Board from your
computer, but I cannot seem to find it again. I found this really nice php script that I want to
create into a website. I have been slowly working at it, but I have to find what files I want to
edit, then edit them in Dreamweaver, then upload them to the server again. This takes so long, and
as its not finished, it will have no visitors, making it pointless to have it running on ....

Here best formmail scripts topic will be discussed (5) I have tried many formmail which includes CGI/Perl formmails and PHP formmails but I find PHP
formmail more powerful than Perl formmail because of two facts which I find in them: CGI formmail
is not easy to install on the server it requires more efforts to complete all config But PHP
formmail is easy to use Furthermore, PHP formmail has ability to export form data to server
while CGI has not this ability I am using a formmail which is the product of a known PHP formmail
service I want to ask others what they prefer PHP or CGI formmail....
Where Do I Install Perl Scripts?
Help, i need somebody help... :P (6) Where do i install perl scripts? I couldn't find the path (usr/bin/perl/) and i tried to put one
script on /home/ /public_html and execute it from a php script, but, nothing happened, the script
was not working, and yes, the script works properly. The reason for not working is the wrong path i
