Nice shoutbox with admin control. You can also customise the look of your Shoutbox too.

When you get hosted by Trap17 if you do, you can set up a chatroom on that. Not too sure how it works though.

php chat is script and you can find many php chat script on www.hotscripts.com
but i think best php chat is flashchat
flash chat is script has chat space with swf file and fla file for your edit blink.gif

the hard part in a flash chat is that you have to be good in designing the template. i have seen a lot of them and they sucked at design. which brings page-based chat more desiring to the eyes.

I've been searching around for the past couple of days for a good php chatroom and I think I found one here:

It's pretty simple, nothing fancy, but I think it's better than the Java chat I've been using on my site.

    this is php-based chat script Once upon a time there was a reasonably popular web-based chat room
    called Star Trekker chat. I happened into this chat thanks to a friend and even though Star Trek
    fans were hardly my favourite group of people I found that for the most part people in there were
    friendly and fun. But when Star Trekker shut down, thanks to its Perl backend eating server
    resources for lunch, these happy and kindly people were left with nowhere to go. It was fortunate
    that at that time I opened my own similar chat room and managed to attract much of the homele....
