Tip: always keep your phone away from liquids or anything harmful to your phone, even if you think ahh nvm it wont happen to me dont even take that chance.

Well thay make protective skins for keyboards that save the day when you spill liquids on them. Do they make skins for phones ? Sounds like you could use one. Just thought I would ask.
Well im glad to hear that you phone is still working, it reminded me that my friend broke his $300 phone, the reason it broke was really funny. He decided to pick up a sock that he found on the ground, he put the phone in and the mechanism got caught and the phone snapped clean in half! All he can do is text, lol. Poor guy, but atleast yours works.
Many phones now are developed to withstand drops, knocks and having stuff spilt on them For example, my phone has a metal case, a scratch resistant screen and a rubber keypad to stop liquid affecting it. I managed to drop my mobile phone onto a concrete floor from about 6 feet and it still worked perfectly afterwards, and that was only made from plastic.

Yeah, my phone's got similar protection. In fact most electronics nowadays are protected against spills and drops. I saw on QVC a consumer HP camera that was totally weatherproof - they dipped it in a pool of water when it was on, and it still worked fine. I've dropped my digi camera and Pen drive numerous times, and fortunately, they haven't broken yet.
That's cool. I just would like to tell you that once I was enraged and took my Motorola cell phone and smashed it against the floor. It flew before my eyes into several pieces, jajajaja. I left it there and after chilling out, I took all the pieces and to my surprise I could put them all together and stills works as when I bought it, after three years. Some cell phones get broken by just beinf droped from short heights.
hehe, yeah, alot of people seem to think electronics get effected by water damage alot faster/easier than they do it seems, alot of times if you drain them out and dry it out they'll work...Though you might wants to open yours up and sponge it down with a very, very small amount of water, though...that rotten milk smell... hehe. And just to add this on since I'm too lazy to add it in above where it fits in more, did you know a car's electrical systems will work underwater for quite a while (can't remember how long) after it goes under?
I like the late colored models like the Nokia 3200. I've dropped mine a few times but still works fine. I've been using it for two years. XD
In your case, it should work again. My experience with that kind of disaster is a bit weird. I enjoyed the company of a phone and forgot that it was in pocket after I soaking in to the depths of a beach here. XXD
For almost a day of drying it under the sun, it worked fine like everything else.
U ARE A LCUKY ONE., reminds me of my first mobile , i was very possessive about my mobile.. since its was my first mobile i alwys used to clean it, it was a nokia 3310 ( loll.. now i laugh looking at it,. but i still love it , and keep it as a sovenier). this happened to me once in train,. since i used to to coll in train , i oneday got stuck in a crowd and while detraining banged against the door, tat time i dint realise tat i had also hit my phone. later when i reached home, i found tat my screen was completely destroyed ( only a portion of the screen was good) and to replace the screen , it cost almost half the price of the mobile, for a month i was using the mobile with the broken screen, and read msgs i had this unique method . i used to somehow navigate to edit option and keep deleting the first words on the screen , and the remaining part of the msg kept moving towards the nice part of the screen, it took almost a min for me to read the msg ,,sometimes my frens jus to trouble me ,sent a 3-4 page long msg.. and they loved to do this... and finally i could hold it no long...
then one day i went to this china bazaar., and to my surprise , they had mobile screens for almost all models , i got it replaced, for almost Rs100 ($3). hmmmm the chinese are have solution for everthing isnt,???
now whenever i trace back to ths incident reminds me , of the techonology that has changed , now i dont think nokia even makes such phones. but it was one phone which i still have it as a sovenier.
I gave dad one of my old cell phones, he dropped it in the sea three times (always the same place, at the boat ramp) and we dried it out and works fine, on the third time we had to use electrical CRC ( a solution that repels water and protects most electrical components). and it came to life again
Not bad for a cheap $50 phone.
Cell phones these days can take one hell of a beating and still work fine.
Everyone has funny phone disaster stories, unfortunately not all of them turn out so well. One time, I was on a trip with my physics class to Six Flags (an amusement park). We went on a ride by the name of Nitro, and just a bit after going 80 miles per hour down 215 foot hill, I noticed something slipping out of my pocket. It turned out to be my cell phone. Before I could make an attempt to grab it, it shot out, flew between the space in the middle of my seat and the one adjacent, then just barely missed impaling my friend in the face, before falling onto either the water below or the solid concrete just before it.
I still think the toughest mobile phones r the old nokias, they can seem to withstand most stuff that comes their way, remember my nephew a few years ago trying to break his in temper, but he got more annoyed when it wouldn't break lol.

Except the Motorola SLVR series, those are...softies. Anyway, I dropped my Motorola ROKR E1 plenty of times now, it looks like a war veteran, but it still works perfectly. I haven't dropped my N80 and I don't plan to

Best Of Nokia Phones.
- Friends, as per ur opinion, which nokia phone is the best of all. And (7)
I love mobile phones, especially Nokias. I own a Nokia 6300 - it isn't anything special, a
middle-class mobile phone, but I love every feature in it. So basically my question is, if you have
experience with Nokia phones what phone do you find most enjoyable and efficient, and what Nokia
would you like to have no matter what /wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)"
border="0" alt="wink.gif" /> Cheers. P.S. Please talk about Nokias only . I hate Sony Ericssons

This doesnt amount to much, but I thought it was a funny story and you guys and girls would get a
chuckle out of it. Just a couple of months ago, before moving back to the Dallas area I had a Nokia
pos through Cingular/att. I had it for awhile, and the service for much longer, but since ATT took
over their service has gotten worse, esp out there. So, after calling support a few times and
exchanging the phone twice as well as the battery a couple of times, at my expense of coarse, I just
decided enough was enough. (It wouldnt hold a charge for more than an hour and wou...
I want to make this experiment. A week without my cell phone. I turn it off now and I'll wait a
week before turning it on. I will see if I'm so connected with it (and I will resist!). I will
posts my impression... I will use only normal (of my house) and public phones... If someone want to
follow my example can write here his impressions! Let's go!...
My phone doesn't accept mp3 ringtones, so I had to go through a laborious process in order to
begin making ringtones for the phone. I have a bluetooth dongle, and I have been able to put files
on my phone. The phone sorts files out of the ringtone folder, though. It's very aggravating. I
can convert the songs to a common ring tone format using media-convert.com, but there are three
choices and I don't know which one to choose. If someone can help me to pick the right format, I
would be grateful....
Hey, Just wondering is there a way to modify/change the OS or firmwar on your phone? If this is
possible how risky is it? I'm asking this question about all mobile phone brands....
Does anyone have an HP Ipaq? If you do, what do you think of it? I have an HP Ipaq 614c and its
completely useless as a mobile phone. When I make a call and hold the phone against my ear my ear
will press things on the touch screen and sometimes drop the call. The camera quality isn't that
great. The GPS takes about 5 minutes before it finds my location if it works at all. The clip that
holds the stylus in broke and now i've lost my stylus /sad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle"
emoid=":(" border="0" alt="sad.gif" /> It's more of a PDA than a phone. The ala...

Sending Fake SMS There is a loop hole in Nokia mobile phone using which you can send fake
SMS messages. i.e you can send a SMS to your friend by changing the from address to some random
e-mail address. Nokia has a feature called SMS e-mail This feature is used to send e-mail by
SMS. You network operator will have a SMS e-mail server. You are supposed to send a SMS to the SMS
mail server with the To address, subject and e-mail body as a partof the SMS text body by following
the conventions provideded by your Network operator. You SMS server will read the To...
i would say when the kid reach 15 years of age. then that would old enough. but younger that age is
not really advisable to let them have the celphone. since they are going to play with it and consume
too much of their time. and we would not want them have their attention on their cellphone only. we
want that they will put more attention to their studies and that they will concwentrate on getting
good grades. and enjoying other things like sports and not to worry about texting their friends and
they have nothing really the can do much about the cellphone. snice they don&...

O.K. I found this software called opera mobile. I downloaded the trial version onto my phone and
started using it. (I was using internet explorer on my phone). It seemed ok but it went way slower
than internet explorer. And I started wondering why they even charge money for something thats worse
than a free software. So I started thinking maybe I set it up wrong. Has anyone else used it? btw,
here is a quote about the software: "Opera Mobile is a Web browser from Opera Software designed for
personal digital assistants (PDAs) and smartphones based on the Windows Mobile ...
Hi, One of my really good friend has a CDMA phone that he claims has been replicated. Problem is ,
That his calls are being recorded from a third phone , which is not possible otherwise, Since
neither the caller nor the called party knows about this, while the recording is being done. He came
to know of this only when he got an email of the recording ?? /huh.gif"
style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":huh:" border="0" alt="huh.gif" /> ?? Is this possible ? As far
as I know , to replicate a phone we need a SIM, which basically has the ESN and once that is copied

All I have to say thank god I never set up my cell phone like this because damn that is a lot for a
phone bill. Of course I guess when you look into using your cell phone as a modem MAKE SURE TO READ
YOUR PLAN about how unlimited that plan is and the limitations on that modem as well. Well at least
they were nice enough to knock down that bill to $3,400, but of course they are going to fight that
as well and it they don't get it lowered anymore he should be lucky that he is not paying the
full amount. You know how anal phone companies are about getting their money ...
