I never click on them. I think they are only good for making money. They aren't interesting anyways. If there was something really amazing for an add, I might click it. But otherwise no.
I don't. I never have, atleast not on purpose. I do sometimes on accident if my mouse slips, or like said above my page loads fast and scrolls to the bottom. I do <- snipped -> that are little games, but my pop up blocker prevents them from actually loading when the "game" is over.
But I never click the ones that are like "Who is this famous person" or the ones that go "Your computer is running slow..." But i have clicked the ones that are to other websites, because sometimes its what im looking for. But I do hate when i accidently click an ad, because sometimes it will take over the page. I also hate the ones that sing, or the ones that make noise if you hover your curser over them it always scares me, because it takes me so long to figure out where its coming from. AIM's adds are notorious for having ads that talk, or sing.
But ads just bug me, i don't mind the little ads sometimes but the ones that like you hover over them, and you can't get out of the bigger version of them because you hovered - those bug me. I also hate the ads that pop up at you, and say "YOU ARE THE 1,000 PERSON ON THE SITE YOU GET 10 DOLLARS!" and its extremely flashy...
If it is a site I support (such as this site, friends sites, etc...), I make it a point to click on at least one of the ads on the page per day. It can really a site out to do that, and I ask people to do the same.
Depends on what the situation is. I don't <- snipped -> that are all "GET 50 FREE SMILIES ON YOUR COMP~" because i don't want them =P. I'll <- snipped -> if people ask me to so they get money off of it, but it usually depends on what kind of ad it is. If it's a "Free domain w/ 30 gigs just 7.95~" I'll click on that ad. Or "Free Anime Posters" 8D. Only, when I'm on sites, I ignore ad banners and leave the site if it has too many pop ups. It's only rarely that I notice a site with ads on it, I never get annoyed by them for some reason. Just...popups and ads that make noise.
But I click on those ads that are like..." Shoot the kangeroo and get a free PSP!" because they amuse me XD but i ignore the offers.
To put it simply, I click on any ad that looks interesting that I ACTUALLY notice =)}
to me adds are a waste of time and energy. Ads ANNOY people like me...unless its relevant to the website itself...Like say your on a web site like walmart...wouldnt it annoy you to get those dang pop-up adds that say "spyware detected" click here for remedy. No adds besides my own or my partners will eb=ver be on my website. People respect your site when theres less clutter. If I went to a web site that was covered with adds..ID run screaming thinking it was a virus/spyware factory!
When I got to one particular site, I always clicked the Google AdSense by mistake because it's a log in site. The log in comes about 2 seconds before the adsense, when adsense comes on, it replaces the login, and the log in moves down. So as soon as the site comes up, I click the log in space, but then i end up cliking the ad .
The problem with making people click an ad to get something, is most advertisers don't want to pay for clicks unless the person might buy something. So if they find out (and they will from the statistics of clicks to sales), they won't pay you for the ads, and they'll pull them from your site. It's called incentivizing, as in giving them some incentive other than their own interest in the ad. Ad programs will kick you out for begging for clicks on your page, or if they keep seeing the same IP's clicking the same ads day after day.
I think people click on them cos i do it on other wesbites myself too sometimes, if the ad is relevant and interesting. For example, if I'm looking for free web templates and google ads show up giving me a link, I;d definitely click on it.
Btw, do you know how much i've made with google adsense..? about $2.40 but i've been using it only for a week or two...

Well, at first I didn't have a problem with that- people coming to look at our house. But what

I've redesigned my website - from graphics to the CSS layouting. I was planning on a website

Hello, I have read and seen so many cases of animal cruelty for no sensible reason. I mean people
poisoning animals for they barked at them or something. My cat was poisoned by a neighbour......
