Simply put, this place rocks. But i'm sure most of us have been hosted by places that haven't. So, here's your opportunity to vent all you want about how utterly useless and crappy they were/still are. Here's the lists of former hosting companies on my eternal blacklist: Tripod: utterly useless, even for a newb. Too many ads, too slow Distanthost.com: my former favorite webhost...until they started with this crap about mandatory ad-clikcing. And then collapsed into a fiery hole of embezzlement and bankruptcy (no kidding there, either), leaving me with no good host for my site...for 6 mo.! Shyper.com: I was just there last week. I had them hosting me for a few weeks...then they delete my account without any explanation, and leave me cold. I didn't violate any of the TOS, bend or break any rules, or use up too much space/bandwidth. they just deleted me. So, they must die.

I hate those free website providers which put adds on your sites...like tripod... When I searched for a host who allows php & mysql I ran into Frandt...it was horrible, slow and always down so I never visited it again! And then I found Trap17 and haven't searched anymore..

I used to have a site at clubhost, it worked fine for a feew weeks. But all of a sudden they took down my site without giving any warning or reason. The crime? having one link to the website of a freeware game.

FreeWebs is aniother bad host. They make you wait just to start using most of the features and that is not right.

I used to try with almost other hosting free , but all them always have problems ! I like trap17 althought it bit slowly !

wow... it sounds like a lot of people have had really bad experiances with freewebs. I'm glad I didn't decide to sign up there. I just thought of another host that I dont like, and it has a name very similar to freewebs. In fact, that might have been it. I also remember hating freeservers.com. My FTP never worked with them when they did allow it, and because of my former web design program, I was left up the creek without a paddle. any sites that require ads must die.... that and 200 posts to join!!

I hate GeoCities, but that's because they apparantly don't offer much bandwith. When I hosted there, my site was constantly down. And I'd have to wait for about an hour for it to come back up, then 30 minutes to 2 hours later, it was down again. I didn't keep my site there for too long, since it WAS at one time getting a lot of visitors.

Tripod.com - too much pop-ups and banners. Narod.ru - super low speed. Freeservers.com - delete everything. There are also a lot of bad hosters but many people like their service

000k.com is a really bad host, i applied for hosting and never got a reply from them even though i followed the rules and used an isp email. and freewebs sucked too, because you have to place that stupid text link at the bottom of each page just for their crappy plans. Luckily i found trap17.. hope to get hosting soon

I used to use Crosswinds which switched to paid hosting. So for one year, I was forced to pay $11 even though I didn't use the website after that. Then I switched to Geocities and I was actually not too angry about it. It was easy to use but didn't have any CGI or other necessities like that. I used remotely hosted scripts for a long time. Then I found Frostyhost. They IMed me 10 minutes after I'd applied, and were very friendly...up until they started posting that it was mandatory to <- snipped -> They had pretty slow correspondence, and their site was always a bit disfunctional. Then they announced they had shut down because the stress was too much. If they had for once thought of member support like these forums, they wouldn't be in that trouble. So I got my stuff backed up, and went scouring for another host. That's when I found Psend which I wasn't satisfied with. And there was Trap17, golden beacon on a trail of woes. And that's why I'm here posting needlessly long histories of my website's life.}}}}}}

I really hate those ugly frames on the bottom of some hosts. And geocity ads are destructive, because they cause errors!

I also hate Geocities. Too low bandwith, too many file restrictions, no PHP and MySQL, and many others, plus there's ProHosting (Annoying banner ads on EVERY PAGE, some even interfered with certain layouts of mine.) They also had many FTP problems for a pretty good while.

I agree, I hate that weird ad thing Geocities put on websites. My friend said that you can remove that ad by adding an HTML code into your index page, I dunno what it is though, but that would be a big help for Geocities users (I'm not one of them of course)

I Hate Doctors!
They have no clue what they are doing sometimes! (1) I go to the doctors to get a physical one day, and this doctor had no idea what to do. So I was
sitting there while he kept going back to the main desk thing to ask what to do, or what something
was. It ended up taking me 4 hours to get a dang physical. And my Aunt got SJS(Stevens Johnson
Syndrome), she is in the hospital now. And there is not a single specialist at any local hospital,
so she is just laying there in a bed, hooked up to a Dialysis (does the work for her Kidneys). And
yesterday the doctor's told us her heart was failing, but she is still alive and it&....

I Hate My Teacher!
Even he's a teacher, he don't understand the school rules! (11) This is some part of my school's rule about absency : 1. Bell rings at 6.50 AM 2. Student is

stay at detention room untill next class begins I'm sure I've learnt those rules carefully.

Why Hate On Vista?
What turns you away from it? (33) I hear a lot of people talk about how bad Vista is, and how its gltichy and buggy and programs dont
work... But can somebody please go into detail? Ive been using Vista for almost a year and I havent
had any problems of the sort. In fact, I prefer it over my xp. Could it be that those who havent
tried it personally, don't like it? They have just heard horror stories? Or is it that somebody

My Chemistry Teacher Makes Me Mad!
i hate her (4) i have this chemistry teacher and she keeps finding new mays to piss me off. the whole school was

Hate Trying To Do File Sharing On Vista
(2) i've had this attempt before with no luck now i'm going to try again! now that i got my
