Anthropomorphobia — Fear or dislike of anthropomorphic traits. (basically personification) Aphenphosmphobia, Chiraptophobia, Haphephobia, Haptephobia — Fear of being touched. Clinophobia — Fear of going to bed or falling asleep. Coulrophobia — Fear of evil clowns. (yes, the definition actually is evil clowns) Emetophobia — Fear of vomiting Ephebiphobia — Fear/dislike of teenagers. Hexakosioihexekontahexaphobia — Fear of the number 666. Paraskavedekatriaphobia — Fear of Friday the 13th.

really i like to know how these names are made up Heck I can make one up right now dokutrophobia- fear of being yelled at. <---not real binaryphobia-fear of binary numbers. noooo not 100110100101 but yeha back to my first question I might be wrong about this but i think theirs like 2-300 different phobia's that have been classfied or something like that. I highly recommend Coulrophobics do not see the movie it or you will go crazy hahahaha .

Some of them are vey curious... having clinophobia must be awful. I suppose a person which suffers from it refuses to go to bed, so he must be tired and weak all day. Sounds funny but I guess it isnīt at all. And that fear of evil clowns, hahaha, very funny. They must have red or seen "It". Could be Pennywisephobia

With these strange names for phobias I wonder if there is actually a naming convention like there is for chemical compounds. I have met someone with clinophobia (fear of going to sleep). He told me he was afraid of going to sleep because he feels that he won't wake up the next morning.

i have a fear of places with crowded people, those where you can barely get enough air to breathe because of so many people taking in the same air you're breathing in and out. i get tense when that happens. it gets sweaty because of less space to move around. it's not a pretty thing to experience something like that.

I have loads of books of random facts and things like that, and I found a few lists of weird phobias. Two of interest are phobiophobic which is someone who is scared of fear itself and scriptergophobic, which is someone who is afraid of writing and work

Latin for six is (don't laugh, if you do, you're immature) sex. one = unus two = duos three = tres four = quattor five = quinque six = sex seven = septem eight = octo nine = novem ten = decem So, yeah, a Latin scholar you are.

Fear of Odd numbers - i have it =/
Odd Phobias
Replying to Trap FeedBackerI have fear of odd numbers, but I think I have this fear b/c of my birthday which is Friday 13. And everyday I try to only get even numbers out of things...Like my blog, I have 14 things that interest me and if I decide too put more of the things that interest me, I have too make it an even number or else I don't feel right and I think that I'm going to have a very bad day. And on odd days I always feel weird and when something bad happens I blame it on that day. I have days where I'm going along and its an even day and then something bad might happen and I will think back to that day and try and figure out what odd number had happened on that day and I blame it on that. Or like when the guy I liked left on the date of 27...I blamed it on that date. =/ -reply by Danielle

i had Nyctophobia at one point in my life and did over the phone therapy. But I definitely don't watch horror movies just in case it could flare up. in case anybody wants to know it was WeListen2you.com where i talked to counselors. I actually was so busy I didn't have any time to sit down with a counselor not to mention this method was cheaper.

I have a slight fear of odd numbers
Odd Phobias
Replying to Trap FeedBacker Just replying back, I have always disliked odd numbers, but I work with numbers much more now... I work in a hotel. I don't like typing in or writing down odd numbers I tend to almost always round something up so that it can be an even number. I wouldn't say I have am an extreme case, but its like I don't feel right if the number is odd and always find a way of making it even. Most of the time I will put guests coming into the hotel in all the even numbered rooms first, and when authorizing credit cards I ALWAYS round up to the nearest even number. And when I see someone else who authorized with odd numbers just looking at it makes me nervous, I just feel like its not complete for some reason. I really feel weird even saying all this, but its progressively gotten worse through the last year or two. -reply by Angela

What are you afraid of? (37) I'm kind of curious to see who out there has any legitimate phobias or fears. As for myself
I'm afraid of heights. However, I challenge myself and go to high places anyway (ie: roofs, The
Arch in St. Louis awhile ago, climb tall ladders, etc.) I think it is really healthy to face your
fears and not be limited by them. So, are you going to give your opinion...or are you too scared
