Cool, quite useful but I still prefer coding with programmer's notepad. =)
I wonder what jlhaslip did to him......

Hmmm... I actually think that it has something to do/related with Nvi... You know, the Berkeley Vi Editor which supports all the historic vi/ex features except for the lisp edit option and the open mode. The 'N' is, I think, a prefix just like the way 'N' was used in Nvi. Or so I think... Anyway, "mysterious" or even funny origins of software names are actually fun to talk about.
