It would seem that your missing a file, what I suggest is reinstall the drivers from the CD you got with your gfx card, and if you don't have that CD, your best bet is to uninstall the drivers. Even thought you don't mention the name brand of the computer, I would also suggest going to their site and search for video drivers and see if they have any current video drivers that you can download. Or go to Nvidia's website and download the lastest windows 32 bit drivers and see if that fixes your problem or not, odds are it will.
It might be a compatibility issue with the motherboard, if your drivers are in place. Try updating your motherboard drivers(from manufacturers website) along with the Graphics Card drivers ( from Nvidia.com as suggested by Saint Michael). And reply if it solves the problem
you can also upgrade your BIOS if its available on the website. However don't do it if you are unsure about the process. because I had a similar problem with my old machine and a BIOS upgrade solved it.

Whenever I play any game, after about 30-40 minutes, the rendering of the graphics start to have
problems. At times there are black patches, pointed edges sticking out of the screen's display
and things like that. I do not know what is the problem? I suspect it is a compability issue and as
a result these 'wierd' things are occurring but can anyone help me? I will give you a list

After Nvidia made nForce 4 chip for AMD A64 processors and later nForce 4 Intel Edition, which
serves to run Intel processors, they decided for the first major upgrade of this chipset. nVidia
gained the most with SLI graphic cards and went a big step ahead of Canadian ATI in the graphic-car
battle. The only bad isde of SLI was, that for its usage PCI Express X16 had to be divided to two
sides which than worked only with half-speed (2X8). And this is exactly what nVidia wanted to
change. The new nForce 4 SLI 16X is about to have two PCI Express bridges with full speed (....
At least I think thats what the problem is. Anyway i'll start at the beginning. I purchased a
Samsung writemaster DVD burner and installed it with the relavent drivers off the samsung website.
Immediately after that blue screen errors started appearing on startup. The error message was this:
BAD_POOL_CALLER 0x000000c2 (0x00000007, 0x00000cd4, 0x11111111, 0x818CAC48) However this would only
occur occasionally and as the DVD burner worked fine when XP did load sucessfully I decided I could
live with it... A problem then occured where I couldn't access the admi....
Why does ATI release drivers more often than nVIDIA? I'm a nVIDIA FX5900XT owner and I'm
very jealous of the ATI people. /biggrin.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0"

QUOTE At the Texas Gaming Festival in Dallas this weekend, gamers will be allowed to preview the
worlds first 512MB gaming card and one lucky gamer will go home with one. The specifics of the card
itself however are not mentioned in the press release. Along with three days of top-notch gaming,
the event will also include an overclocking demonstration and a PC modding event. "Participating in
events like this gives us the opportunity to find out what gamers want and need for competitive
gaming," said Rich Heye, Vice President and GM, Desktop Discrete Products, ATI. "....
I recently updated my sound card driver CMI3738/C3DX PCI (C-media) and the update did not work out
too well. I had backed up the old version of this sound card driver and reverted back to it after
the update did not work out. Now the system sounds work as normal but all software that used the
driver once (i.e games and windows media player) freeze and stop responding when I try to start them
up and I have to restart my computer. I tried reinstalling the driver about 20 times from
downloads, systemboard cd and backup files and even reinstalled several of the software th....
