i used this before...i didnt really like it but i didnt use all the features, ill try it again now. but im switching to linux soon...so iono.

An alternative to Notepad++ is a similar editor with syntac highlighting called SciTE, http://www.scintilla.org/SciTE.htmlIn fact both editors are based on the Scintilla edit component, so it is not surprising that they are similar. I have used both, but I sort of prefer SciTE, it just feels "lighter" somehow.

Personally I use EditPlus, but it isn't freeware and an irritating message pops up every time you use it reminding you of that. When I get home I'll try this tool out, thanks for posting about it.

Yeah i use edit plus also and it is free for the person who posted that it isnt You just have to move that annoying pop up thing out of the way. ANd yeah edit plus is getting boring ill try notepad++

(7) Because of my hard drive's small capacity, I didn't want to install the 300+mb office suite
by Microsoft. I've tried OpenOffice but it was still too big. Right now I only have AbiWord to

The best open source CMS in town (12) I've been using the Mambo content management system for several weeks now. on another host (I
don't like them, that's why I came here to trap17) and decided it's the best free thing
I ever Googled for. It's free and open-source. I deployed it to my web site in about 15
