I was at Futureshop a few days ago. I noticed that C&C Generals (a PC game, if you dindt know) cost $40. Its expansion cost $25. So thats 65$ together. Recently, C&C: The First Decade was released, which contains 12 C&C games, including Generals and its expansion fo rthe price of... $60!
So, if you buy Generals and the expansion alone, you pay $65, but if you buy The First Decade, you get it $5 cheaper AND get 10 other games. Can you say bad pricing?
Maybe Futureshop was gambling on the fact that people wouldnt expect Generals to be in First Decade... But thats still no excuse... |

well is it like that everywhere? (not just futureshop?) but yea it does sound stupid, but then again it probably doesn't cost them (the store) more for the collection then the expansion/generals. not like its anything to complain about of course... when big corperations screw up its us lowly consumers that win out.

A nice add-on for Microsoft Powerpoint (1) This is a nice add-on for Microsoft Powerpoint that generates Flash (.swf) files from Powerpoint
presentations. I find that this can be a very useful tool for educational purposes and let me make
my Powerpoints more creative than just using the viewer. I could incorporate my Powerpoints into a
blog or a webpage and be able to view it on any web browser with Flash. The only problem is that
it's interface is inside of Powerpoint. This means I must use Powerpoint in order to generate
the Flash files. I would much rather use OpenOffice.org Impress, but I can still make t....
Religion Vs Belief
Nice little rant about religion (5) I was attending my political science class when I brought up religion. The following statement was
said: Religion has always been a form of government and has done the same amount of bad things the
untied states government has. I believe there is a difference between a set religion like
catholicism and the belief in Jesus Christ and deity compared to the religion it is linked to. If
God is really all knowing, why would a person have to dedicate their life to prayer and attending
church, when they can be out helping others and doing the basic set lines of how to be a good....
