I've seen those enclosures for 2.5inch laptop drives, they seem to be a pretty neat idea. I haven't seen one that plays mp3 though. I guess you can get a 20gb disk on ebay for pretty cheap. I could have sold you my old toshiba 40gig drive, but its broken and I'm not that mean

hmm, you'll have to try it out and see for yourself to be sure, but I would think that the harddisk should work fine. You can't be sure about this kinda situation so I would try it out first before getting it. Usually the harddisks on a laptop can easily be taken out anyway.

I'm not too sure what hes talking about either. I know of enclosures for 2.5 inch laptop harddisks that turn them into USB 2.0 external harddisks. But I don't know of ones that can play mp3s. That'll make them much bigger... and you'll need a lot of battery power.

Disk Space- Is It Adjustable?
Without Formating (7) Just recently I formated my computer due to severe virus issues and in an attempt to bring more
organization, had my disk space divided into three hard disk drives; E: Storage, D: Programs and C:
Operating System. Afterwards, however, to my dismay I started to frequently run low on disk space
in drive C:, (considering that this is where each individual user account's documents, etc. go,)
and it's causing me a lot of problems. Up to date, my other two drives seem to have plenty of
space in them and I would like to adjust it to put more in my Operating System Dri....
Disk Boot Failure - Please Help Me!

anyway, when i accessed it, my pc started to hang. but i was able to resolve it when i closed the
program down. but that's not my problem (it's just my introduction). when i restarted my pc
(since i had to do some other things), the pc couldn't shut down. after windo....
Disk Compatibility
A little disk compatibility problem here (4) My PC is now running Windows XP. When I upgraded from Windows Me, I formatted the two internal hard
disks as FAT32. I recently purchased a Maxtor One-Touch External 300GB hard disk, which i want to
use for two main purposes : digital video editing, burning DVDs and the like, and secondly as a
back-up for everything on my two internal 40GB disks. I have the option of formatting my new
external disk with either FAT32 or NTFS. The latter has the advantage that a file would not be
limited to 4GB in size. However, is it possible to have two formats running side by side? Can a....
