Hi. Welcome to the Funny Farm. Enjoy your stay, but be wary of Trolls. Don't feed 'em. Once you become hosted, your points are measured in days. So you'll loose one point per day. Sound easy enough?

And you can 'stock up' on your credits, so you have a cushion to fall back on in case circumstances do not allow you to be here daily. Most people carry a 'reserve' of at least ten credits, so they could be gone for 10 days without worrying. Of course, 30 is better.

Yeah, 30 is better... I am stuck on 20, I'm least bothered to get it up and your credits go down by 1/day. Really easy to collect points but I just have enough to keep my site running...Speaking of which, when will my site be up? Your credits will go down once your site is up, so no need to worry before you get your site

Hello, Welcome to site, enjoy your stay and remember to stay active. Best wishes with the site you may wish to create, and dont forget to link to your site in signatures on various sites that you may post on. Just remember, to keep the hosting active you will need to at least be able to stay active on the forums, as credits do go down by one per day, but i'm sure that you are able to stay active by making good clean quality posts, and not of the spam type, which spam type posts are usually frowned upon. Once again, welcome and see ya around on the boards.

Hello Erik, and welcome to trap17! I've been here awhile, and other than the recent disaster with the sites going down, I have been really happy here. Now that that's fixed, and my site is back, I am in a much better mood. Since you are a computer geek, hopefully you won't have any problems figuring things out, but let me tell you, if you do, the other members here are VERY helpfull, and can just fix you right up. You can post questions, or if you are in a real rush, the shoutbox is a great way to get fast answers. I'm just nearly computer illerate, but they have talked me threw all kinds of problems. Sometimes keeping up credits is a bit tough for me not being very knowledable about computers, but hopefully you wont' have that problem. Sometimes I wish we had more dog breeders here, so I could post about something I do know about.

Welcome aboard Nick. If you wish to host a website with Trap17, you'll need to keep active on the forums by making posts that are useful to read. It doesnt have to be a essay or anything, but small/spam posts such as "lol" and one liners such as "that's great" are usually not tolerated and/or doesnt count towards the credits.

Global Warming
Just a thought (43) I find it hard to believe that we are the cause of global warming. The world is always changing I

What You Never Knew About Apes/ Primates
Primates Smarter Than Recently Thought (1) I wrote this in a college essay and I felt I should share it as I found this topic very interesting.
The recent study of chimpanzees, bonobos and other primates has in fact made an astonishing
impact of what was recently thought about non-human primates. The truth to the matter is that these
animals are actually more intelligent and mentally capable than recently thought to be. Some
researchers are even saying that these primates’ poses levels and types of intelligence thought only
to be used by humans. These tests and studies conducted show unequivocal demonstr....

Perpetual Motion
A possible pointless thought. (5) OK Heres my thought, if we take a perfect pentagram like that and on each on of the star place
a weight with equal mass. And administer a slight push because of the odd number of points no
matter what point it will be in it will always have more weight on one side that the other. As seen
here As we can see here. There is three on the right and two on the left. This will make it
fall clockwise bringing it to this kind of position. Im not even gonna bother, you get the idea
it'll keep going forever. Swell. Perpetual motion. Now that we have this we dont ....
Does Practice Really Make Perfect?
Here's my thought... (11) We have all heard of the saying 'Practice makes Perfect'. I actually disagree with that
statement. You see, the core principle of practicing is to make your self better. An example would
be a child learning the piano. The child must practice in order to get better at the piano. But my
thought is that practice does not make perfect... it just makes permanent. If a child is learning to
play the Concert C Major Scale... but plays and practices it wrong over and over again... it will
not be perfect. His Concert C Major Scale will be permanently wrong... until he fix....
Thought And Religion
My basis on why I personally do not agree with most religions. (13) There are many ideas that come up in this world that science has either failed to or just simply
cannot explain through tests and being able to use some sort of knowledge to link things together.
Human beings for some reason, must know exactly how this world works and the reasons as to why such
a creation is able to function in some sort of way. Through this reasoning, people constantly try to
find ways to believe in what they want to believe, and therefore turn to some sort of religion to
explain the world to them. With this in mind, there have been many religions creat....

are very luck, the file can be recovered and restored with ease. Drag the file to your desktop, right

one blue-green, are collimated in a single beam. The blue-green laser reads data encoded as laser
interference fringes from a holographic layer near the top of the disc while the red laser is used
as the reference beam and to read servo information from a regular CD-style aluminiu....

What Is A Leap Year? And Its History
something i never eally thought about. (6) By definition a leap year (or intercalary year) is a year containing an extra day or month in order
to keep the calendar year in sync with an astronomical or seasonal year which follows the gregorian
calendar. The Gregorian calendar is the standard calendar that is used by most of the world and
which in 1582, Pope Gregory XIII made it law that everyone should follow it due to the fact that the
julian calendar was to long thus the vernal equinox (Beginning of Spring) kept going backwards due
to the Shifting of the earth Rotation. The Julian Calendar was introduce by Jul....

New Technology Gives Thought More Power
(14) http://www.physorg.com/news7746.html A chip inserted into a patient's brain can allow him or
her to control a robotic arm just by thinking. This has enormous implications, seeing as the first
test patient is a paralytic, but he has been able to draw and use a computer with this arm. It works
by reading the activity of neurons then sending the data to a computer. Some scientists believe that
this will lead to an era where all we will have to do is think to accomplish most tasks-including
communication. I for one think that this will just make the obesity problem in....
