Hello! Many of the forum members have been appreciating googlue.tk for a long time and it has seen quite a few changes in the last few months. Now it has taken a big leap with the latest change. New design and layout - done , new content - on the way I have used Mambo and have customized it extensively. Your comments on the design and layout would be appreciated. BTW, the motto of Googlue is: Information with fun! Please sign the guestbook too... Regards Googlue!

Mambo is the best CMS that I have ever used, but Its not as good as PHP-nuike when it comes to downloads managment...

I like the layout very much, what sort of centent are you going to have? I may contribute

It's a very nice design, plain and simple, I like very much that metallic silver background tile.. Its nice. Navigation is simple too, and that's what it's all about to be simple to average users. Can't wait for content..

Very nice layout! The only thing I dont like about it is the giant white block of information in the center. It looks kind of ugly to me, but hey, it's your site. Do as you will.

I also enjoy the nice navigation menu. Plain and simple, just as the previous posters said.

googlue, bring back the content i visit. *hint-hint* (don't ask in public, guys, it's just between us, but you can PM googlue ). but i miss the orange flavor of the old googlue site.

I like the simplicity of the site... It looks professional except for the metallic background, maybe if ya made it a solid color it'd be more pro-like, but I don't know if you're going for that.. lol

Since you've did an "orange" theme, you should try like a "grape" theme lol

I like the motto, makes your site fun!

Ohhh nice site.....very mac like. simple and easy.
You should lighten or change the color of the .tk at the top with the drop shadow it kind of blends in too too much with the background and disappears.

i don't like the background, i think it looks really bad, and so does the Googlue.tk banner :\ i'd switch it to just a color, and not an image background.

as shadow skazi said, the "giant white block of information" is also strange, because it doesn't match with the rest of the site.

the navigation menu doesn't look bad, but could look better ;p

PS - i liked your site better when you used the template

Thanks ket for your comments. But I never used a template for the site earlier...
This is the first time... using Mambo here as in medspan.info too

I have modified the template of Mambo to make it like this...

However, talking about the logo, the logo is not static. It changes whenever you reload the page, but the differences are very subtle so may not have noticed it! HoweveI am going to stick to the steely grey background for sometime... till i get bored with it. Then I may change it to a solid colour. What colour would you recommend ket?

Hm... I don't know what did you previous version look like, so I don't know is this better or worse. I just can say i could be better

First of all, your header image is "i-didn't-say-ugly-but something-like-that" You should remove all the Bevels and Embosses and the shadow also doesn't fit. Second, backgorund image is little out of date. Now are very popular sidelong lines so try to use them... This background remindes me on wooded frame and I don't see how is it in connection with your site

Navigation should be more conspicuous. Maybe you can add a thin frame around it, put some bullet in front of every link... don't know, try everything...

As I can see, you are really good with scripts, but maybe you should find someone else for design... or WORK, WORK, WORK and LEARN, LEARN, LEARN !
