| | ^I just said in the above post that I had -21 points plus and then a couple positive points from these posts on top of that but its still negative.
So is there any chance you could drop these negative points so I could have a stable account fo a couple weeks without being suspended every other day so I could redirect my forum users to a new host? Do I need to PM admins with this since I didnt get a response so far and my forum is going down the drain. |

^No it's actually at -16 points and it's a lot. I just don't think I deserve such a hard punishment for simply not knowing that posting news articles is not allowed in here.

Need help with running CGI on trap17 free web hosting (0) Hi. Im new to perl and CGI could someone tell me how to run CGI on trap17 free hosting. I have
created a programme which look like CODE print "<p>Hi</p>"; i tried
saving it in notepad as "test.cgi" but it saved as a text document, named "test.cgi" I tried putting
it in the "cgi-bin" area, on the free web hosting ftp. but when i ran it, it said it couldnt find
it. could someone help me. Also, how do you use the first line like: CODE #! usr/bin/perl

Slightly Concerned About Web Hosting Applications
email addresses shouldnt be shown (7) Ive been thinking about this for a while, every since i did a search for my email address in google
(you should really try it, youd be surprised where your address turns up sometimes) I was lucky and
the only reference to it was here at T17 in my hosting app. But this concerned me... Many of the
folk here at trap are very intelligent and cautious people and dont like their email address being
splattered across the internet but that is what is happening because of the application threads. I
would like to ask if they can be made mod/admin only or if Jlhsalips email hidi....
