Need Help Uploading Frontpage Pages - can anyone helpe me please??

I was so glad My application for free hosting Package 2 was approved! I'm now at the cpanel site...you now http://yoursite.com/cpanel and I have noooo idea what to do next!! I want to make a site...I have a site saved in Frontpage...so does anyone know how to upload it or something...I've never did this before so I have no idea. I also would like to work with HTML....but how do I do this...I mean is there anywhere a place in the menus where I can upload it ?
I'd really appreciate anyone helping me. I couldn't find a help topic anywhere on the site...or FAq..

For starters, this forum (the tutorials forum) is for tutorial submissions - not to ask questions. You have to post in the Hosted Members Area for that (which I have moved).
Second, do you have .html or .htm files from frontpage? You probably have those...so what you want to do is find the feature called "File Manager" in your cPanel. Click on File Manager. A window should pop up. In that window, there should be a bunch of file and folder names. Click on the icon of public_html. Now, find a file called index.html and click on its name. Now, a menu should appear in the top right hand pane of the File Manager window. Find the option called Delete File or something similar (it should be called Delete File if I'm correct). Click on Delete File. In the bottom right hand of the File Manager window, click on the trash can. Now, in the left pane, click on Upload File(s). You can click on the big black arrow or the word - it doesn't matter. You should be taken to a page with a bunch of text boxes. Click on Browse for one of the textboxes and browse for the initial [s]starting page[/b] of your site - it should be called "index.html" or "index.htm" or "main.html" or "default.html" or something very similar. Double click on that file. The browse window should disappear now. Finally, click the Upload button at the bottom to upload it.
To view the file that you just uploaded, go you yoursite.trap17.com/[file you just uploaded] (get rid of the brackets when typing this into the URL).

this just another way to do it. yes, this way is easier for small site with very few files. you will use ftp program one day, as your site getting bigger and bigger there will be more files to upload when you want to change layout. try to imagine how long does it take you to upload 100 files? how many times you have to click for it? this is the point why ftp porgrams are exists in the internet, with ftp program i can simple select them and pull them to the program, it will automatic upload for me.
Yes, you have to upload all your pics to the public_html folder in order to see them. Basically, your website base is the public_html folder. You can also make directories, too. For example, you can make a folder called imagesin your public_html folder, and upload all your images there. Then, you can view your images by typing into your browser: yoursite.trap17.com/images/image.jpg or something like that...
Ever since today, my site has been working just fine. I'm maintaining the amount of points I
need, and the server status has been and still is fine. However, a while ago I tried to access my
site and it wasn't loading. When I loaded the root URL, it worked fine though. I went to the
file manager and noticed that the file I was trying to previously access was .php, and the index
file at my root URL was .html. I deleted the index.html file and made a index.php file, then tried

ok so... im in cpanel making new pages for my website.. (ending the names in .html and saving them
as an html document) but every now and then my pages, such as this one

ok, i have 2 domains 1. www.megabytemb.com and 2. www.visionwest.org.au i have frontpage
extensions on the 1st doamain because it came preinstalled because i used the 1st domain to
registar. how can i get frontpage extensions on the 2nd one??? and why is only my main ftp account

Okay, so yesterday I checked the FrontPage extensions and noticed that they were installed. I began

I have been using Frontpage 2003 to make a website, it is basically complete but I need to know how
to upload the files. I have been playing around with the file manager and it seems like I have the
site there but in a very inefficient manner. Is there any way I can just use Frontpage to upload
the files and type in my password and username in Frontpage? If so, can you lead me to a thread that

I building me webpage in Frontpage and when I go to publish my web and enter the ftp
address:ftp.skaterboarderzone.trap17.com.com I get the error message QUOTE "Could not find a

Hi people! I just noticed that none of my php pages are working, they dont have any source so
arent sending anythnig to the browser which is strange as it seems like they are working on the
server because they are detecting if someone is logged in and redirecting accordingly but theres
just no soruce code and no page showing up. My HTML pages seem to be working ok but my site is

Hi. I just created an account and was able to log into the cPanel successfully. I even uploaded a
new index page and images. However, it isn't letting me view them from the web. I can see them
from the file manager but if I type in the page URL in the address bar of my browser, it just says
that the page cannot be displayed. Is there something I'm supposed to do in order for my custom

When i try to upload my files from microsoft frontpage it keeps giving me an error message when it
is on the proccessing stage of upload saying that the server sent a response that frontpage could
not parse. I have already tried to reinstall the frontpage extentions but that didnt fix the
problem. It is not the aoolication because i have tried uploading it to another Frontpage

Okay, I'm not sure this is the right place for this message, but I was wondering if I can have
diffrent error messages for diffrent subdomains, so mysite.trap17.com/a_file_that_isnt_real, would
yield one error page, where as secondpage.mysite.trap17.com/a_file_that_isn't_real would yeild a
diffrent 404 page?...

Error Pages. I know that there is a part in the Cpanel to do this, but that only allows text. I want

I am trying to upload my first web page. From cpanel I uploaded the index file of my page
(overwriting the existing file) and I still get the trap17 page on my domain. Do I need to upload
every html file for the page, I made one using frontpage. Does it need to be moved to the public

When I try to edit, remove, rename, or replace my index into my public_html folder. It does not
