| | Does any of you know any database engine that could be in standalone/embedded mode (with zero administratrion) and at the same time could be in client/server mode? In other words, I need the database to be able to run by itself and when required by the enduser, be able to run in client mode where it connects to a remote database.
I looked into mysql embedded but it's still not mature (I spent a day trying to get it to work), although it is exactly what I'm looking for.
I also looked into OLE DB however, the msdn docs are full of concepts and are lacking in "how to's". Moreover, I couldn't seem to find information on how to connect to remote databases (although it stated that it could) and how to create zero-administration datasources.... not to mention I'm still confused by its relation with odbc and such.
Could anybody offer some advice? Or refer me to a good tutorial site on OLE DB?

Databases/Users Gone! (2) Hey, all my MySQL Databases and users are gone, and when I create new ones, they don't appear?
I was showing my site to people, asking for their opinions, it works perfect, and all of a sudden
one says the site is gone, and an error shows up! It was a connection error and all, so I
checked the MySQL stuff, and everything was gone! I though, no big deal. I had saved the
template, and everything else was like a 10 min job, so I'd just recreate the databases and
users, but when I tried, nothing showed! So, all databases/users were gone, and all new ....
99 Mysql Databases?
(2) I just got my account, and I was wondering: do we really get 99 MySql databases? I've read a
lot of the stuff about it, and it sounded like we only get one database, but my cPanel says that I
have "0 / 99" databases. If it's lying, it's not really a problem, because I could always

Databases and saving form results (4) Hey all, I was looking for some help with creating my new website. I have a form already created,
with some text areas, checkboxes, drop down menu's, ect. I need some help setting up the code to
save the form data once the user clicks "Submit" after filling in their information in the form. I
was hoping to do this 2 ways - 1. Saving the information into some type of database (MySQL I'm
guessing?) and 2. Have the form results emailed to me. I am familiar with the old way of emailing

How Do You Combine Multiple Mysql Databases Into One Database?
(3) How do you combine multiple mysql databases into one database? I was thinking thta soem servers
restrict you to one to five mysql databases. If I have a dynamic part of a table on my site, I
would use one database for that. For every table of dynamic information, I use one database. Can I
streamline what I am doing and combine all of my databases into one? I could make multipple tables

Databases are down a lot
(18) The databases are down a lot, allmost every evening (GMT+1). Can you please tell me what's the
problem? The rest is working fine(php and html). Is this just tempory? Because my site needs

(3) How come I now only have 99 databases and 99 subdomains. I mean I had it for the amount of space and
databases and subdomains and bandwidth. I wanted it so I could what I had wanted to do. How come we
lost a 9 to each of the things? Cause I would like to help many clans out there and I can't do
