 you have a lot of content which is always a good thing so no problems there. Layout But something it seems to lack is navagation at the side or top of the site on every page (yes you do have a few links at top, but not overly useful). Maybe decide the msot important areas of your site and create navagation for them? Secondly i like the large spacing between things, makes the site feel roomy lol, but the Quote of the day box could be padded down abit away from the header bar, as it looks odd And the website logo/graphic should be in the header, or above it possibly if u wnated, as not a huge amout of attention is beign drawn to it. Graphics + Style: Very simple, but effective. Could be improved possibly with some title bar graphics for each section, and possibly colour coding your site accordingly. . . i.e blue=culture, green=attractions, grey=news. . etc because at the moment its quite a miss-match of differernt colours. Keep the header's blue colour, its a good stylish choice. Also conside creating a background for the main tables of the website, to separate it from the background of the the body. also possibly use a differernt logo and graphics for your header graphic. If you want help i could knock a few ideas up and if ya like them i would create all the neccery text you needed. overall, nice heavy content website you can use my crits, or dispand them, in the end of the day its only my opinion and i'm sure someone will dissagree with me. keep at it.
Hello, well i like your page because it is simple! But there are a few things I'd change or improve..
- the logo is clearly a bit muddled so you should work on that to make it clear if it is possible (never lower your jpg or gif quality to such a visible rate) - i think there are too many colors (that blue you have on the top is nice...but than you have yellow, green, pink, white, grey,..just too many..i think that a website looks best if you use 3 colors @ most..) - the last thing i'd point out is positioning of these cells (modules)...it is a bit disorganized so maybe you could make a 3 collumn table and put news in the middle and those extra stuff on the left and right of it..i think it would look better.. all in all it is a nice page and if you are goin to change it, keep in mind that it has to stay simple as it is now! hope it helps..greetz & good luck with your site!

at all page looks OK. But some troubles are there.. Like a - just 3 navigations on top. Try adding some more. logo in left side if god-awful:0 sorry:)! There isn`t enaught content for page. page is too coloured and too plain at once. Try sth. with colour and text. But at all nice page.

hm i think its a great site for people form pakistan. but your layout really needs some working on. take a look at the thing goosestaf did for you to think about how you can work a bit with it. put some more color into it. and play around with some fonts and sizes for your sections. but have a similar colorsyle for each section. or you have have maybe lets say a diffrent color for one collum of items. ie. the left bigger one and one collum for the right one which is smaller. i mean like one style for "News from Pakistan" and all the things under is. and then one for "Quote of the Day" and all the things under that one.
also try to work with gradients maybe. gradients always look nice.  other than that there not much i can say. cool site 
hey I checked out your site & in my opinon the concept of it seems really good but the layout of information is a little too confusing for me.
here are some recommendations: 1) use the same backgroung color for the content headings ,use the same bule color for the QUOTE news from pakastian & QUOTE pakastian directory heading background color2)The content backgrounds should have colors that dont differ too much from each other....i recommend using just the White, grey and light bule..the purple and brown colors dont blend well in the white background of the page 3) a similar header like what yahoo uses will look perfect on the site( icons as menu items and your logo in the middle) 4) organize your layout of content a little better......i recommend using Yahoo home page as an example on how your site layout shoud look in regards to placing and organizing its content......... hope this helps you...........
Its Ok, but I think it sort of looks flat, try adding graphics to content headers, and a background and definetely a header for the whole page.

wow nice site.. the colour scheme needs some help lol
I don't know if its my computer or something but it does take some time for it to load. I don't know much about the coding or what you put into making the site but its not loading fast like some other sites.
The little header barcode image is sort of plain. Maybe you could find a better header image to make the site not look simple. I'm pretty sure it has been said already. The purple sort of conflicts with the other colors. Overall i like the design. I espcially like the ticker you have. That's cool.
The nick generator didn't work for me either. The page is very ambitious, a lot of content, which is very good.
I suggest you do change your logo when you have the time. Something more exotic looking, that evokes Pakistan would be good. As for the colors, the brown, grey and khaki go together as nice earthy tones, but the purple and white don't go with them. The blue is dull enough to go with the earthy tones, so it works all right. If you replaced all the white with a light tan color, it would look better. And replace the grey with another duller color that goes with the earthy tones. That would give you a professional earthy colored site. Or keep the purples and the white and change the other colors to something more exotic. What colors are on Pakistan's flag? Maybe you could use those, and small icons of the flag for a little graphic detail that would not take long to load. You should definitely have a section on travel, list the cities with airports, and show a map of train lines. Once you get the site up and some visitors, you can obviously make some money off of people looking for tourist information. Airlines, tour groups, travel agencies, and businesses like that are obvious advertisers on your site. For tourists looking at a site to see if they want to go there, it would be good to make your site more exotic looking. A simple graphic or logo would be to take a picture of an exotic earring, or some local coins, then optimize the file size and put your site name with the picture. Just make sure you have a strong contrasting color behind whatever you take a picture of, so you can see the object clearly. And the quotation box looks a bit odd being higher than the News box. Move the quotation box down so the top is even with the news box. You could put your logo picture first in the blue header box, then have the site name in larger letters, to the right of the logo, so it takes up more space to the right of the logo.
I like (just like everyone else) the simplicity of the website but there are a few odd looking things that could use fixing. First of all, at the top the Blue bar with nothing really in it until the right side could be changed to add you logo and or something a bit more eye catching. Secondly, the coloring of the boxes in the layout. They are kinda random. I would (like Goosetaf) color code your sections so that they are easily distinguishable. Also, i would add a white section above the quote of the day and make the MSN Messenger title the same color as the rest.
Now, navigation. The three links at the top are not enough. I would add a navigation bar to the left or right side of the page so people can just click and go from one place to another. Besides that it simple and good and has content. I would probably update a few images to make them clearer and a bit more entertaining just so people remember your site.
I will comment on your website on the following factors:
Layout: When it comes to layout this is good. Fixed width is always better than 100% width. At first glance the layout reminds me of Yahoo. The only problem seems to be with firefox. The way it appears in internet explorer and firefox are somewhat differenet. Border looks ugly in firefox browser. May be you can make small changes to make it look more professional in firefox browser. Header: The logo reminds me of some branded jeans pant. A logo should be visible and conspicous which is not in this case. When we visit pakdir we must know that we are visiting it and next time we can identify it easily. If someone visits your site from search engine he may not even know which site he is visiting because the logo tells very little about the site. I suggest you put the Logo in the same line as the blue band on top of the page. Design: I like the design. A website which doesn't have much graphics in the layout itself is good because it loads fast and also search engines don't count those images much in anyway. News: May be you can get more news from other news source too, not only from the same source but from many different source so that visitors get maximum news out of one website, otherwise they may visit the concerned site directly.
