Ok my site was running like with no problems from the mySQL database for six months even more now it was made on PHP - Nuke i didnt touch anything when suddenly yesterday it said that there is a problem with the Database and we will be back shortly blah blah blah... anyway the site wasnt back about an hour ...i deleted the whole PHP-Nuke installation deleted the mySQL scripts etc etc and tried to start everything from scratch... Ne way what i wanted didnt happen... when i installed the new php-nuke the same error occured... it said that there are problems with the mySQL database and we will be back shortly blah blah blah... well... another thing... when i try to login to my MYPHPADMIN it says ACCESS DENIED WRONG USERNAME/PASSWORD.... so what shall i do ? pls some1 that has expirienced this problem in the past or knows avoid it reply here ot contact me on msn ilko_14@yahoo.co.uk cos i really need my site back up ! P.S i dont think i've done anything wrong with the mySQL database i read the post about the database errors/settings etc but i've done none of the things it said there and i didnt get the same error... Yeah. Its happening to me and I really dont like it. Especially when I got stuff to do that involves this. And if we gotta reinstall everything to the db than I will be so f***ing mad that I dunno what. So the stuff better get placed back.

Guys. Relax. MySQL is down for all users hosted on trap17. You did not do anything wrong. Usually this happens because a member was playing around with a poorly coded script, so the server admin had to take down MySQL. It should be back up shortly so please be patient. Also, do not delete your MySQL database because it's not your fault.

This is like the first downtime in months, a long downtime tho. But you gotta live with it I guess. :[ Also dr1v3r, I dont think the admins have a very recent back up, but I would suggest you cantact them ASAP to get your files back, since they might overright the backuos they made.

Lol- If i'm not mistaken, there's no backup available, they leave all that up to us. If you can't stand a downtime every now and then, then move to paid hosting (Computing Host RULES!!) Panda

Do you know when MYSQL problem should be fixed. My clients & visitors are really pissed off with this time-out. My site is based on MYSQL database and if you try to access the site, you can't do anything for the moment. I really like to know that this problem will be solved fast by the trap17.com forums' team. Please resolve it asap.

It would be good to have some official confirmation, but my databases have been restored. I'm noticing in the shoutbox that everybody else is experiencing the same thing. t17 continues to impress! Downtime is a part of any host, especially for one that gives its users so much freedom. I just hope somebody doesn't abuse the freedom and screw it up for the rest of us.

When I went on, I had no databases. Will they come back again after this downtime? If not I will be really really really f***ing pissed. I will spaz and end up filling up the vent. So I hope my databases are back again after this.

How Do I Find My Mysql Password? [resolved]
Cannot access my MySQL (5) After all the recent problems, my account has been restored. I have setup my parked domain agin, and
that works fine. However, I can no longer access my MySQL databases (I can from PHPMyAdmin, but
that's all). I had to create a new user for my databases, and created the user with exactly the
same username and password I had before, but some of my web pages do not let me access the pages I
have associated with my databases. Where could i find out what my DB password is? (Although I am as
good as sure I am using the right one). I have tried my old password, the new c....
Remote Access Mysql
(8) Is it possible to directly access my local database from my website? For example, if somebody
submits info on my website, the info they submitted would be transferred to my local database
directly. Is that possible? And if so, how do I set that up? The reason I don't want to upload
my database to my subdomain is because it would be difficult to keep the website database and my

Phpbb2.17 Mysql Problems
Just this week they started (4) The forum has been up and running for about a year and a half. It has been through numerous server
upgrades, etc, including the recent HDD change, but for some reason, just this week it started

Database Connection Problem
phpBB2 installation error (5) *edit* Ok well the original problem has been solved. I have installed phpBB2 on my new how here.
Transfered all of the database files over. On my new forums all of the old posts and everything
shows up right. The problem is when I click the "Go to administration panel" at the bottom it links
me to log into my ACP on my old forums. It changes the url and all. If I hover over the link it
says that it will be directed to the right way, the way I want, but it doesn't. Does anyone
know anyway to fix this?....
99 Mysql Databases?
(2) I just got my account, and I was wondering: do we really get 99 MySql databases? I've read a
lot of the stuff about it, and it sounded like we only get one database, but my cPanel says that I
have "0 / 99" databases. If it's lying, it's not really a problem, because I could always
just prefix my tables, but I was just wondering why it would say that. If for some reason it was
letting me get more than one database, and I wasn't supposed to, I don't want to get my

Cpanel And Mysql Problem. [resolved]
(3) hi all - i'm going to make this brief. my CMS (drupal 5.0) and forum (SMF 1.1.1) cannot connect
to the mysql db. however their files CAN still be accessed. I also tried uploading a file through an
ftp client and the file could be accessed. HOWEVER: cpanel cannot be accessed either. it simply
loads with a blank page. however both worked earlier today. so is there a problem with the server?
