People don't have to see your myspace details if YOU don't want them to. Just make your profile private and they would have to add you to their friends if they wanna see your profile and you would have to accept it.
Anyways... you don't HAVE to enter all of your personal information!

i love myspace... i check it more often than i do my email... and that says something since im on all the time... i met a bunch of friends on there... most i dont really talk to but i do sometimes... and ive heard of some bands from there and i like them now... and if it werent for that, id never have heard of them... and the greatest thing about it is... i met the love of my life on there... i may be young but i know what love is... and yea... thank u myspace... id probably be depressed if it werent for that...

I don't like myspace at all.. I have received invites on email to join myspace but somehow I get annoyed at my space profiles. They look cluttered.

Cluttered- that's true. Although I really like mmyspace, it's just kind of silly to see what people with no idea about web design or anything like that just stick a million things onto that one page. They put up videos and a song and a survey that stretches out the page all on top of a horrible background wit a font color that's unreadable.

It's a bit like when I first got internet access and people had just discovered places like tripod where they'd make their own sites that were just tacky and full of blinking, animations and crazy fonts. Perhaps that sort of thing still goes on, I just don't see it over here.

Totally agreed.. I thought I was the only one that thought that.. They probably think it looks nice.. and it doesn't help either when their mates go OMG I LOV YOUR PROPFILE DO MINE..and then you get a whole gang of blinking messed layouts that are all stretched out and hold a kazillion survey thingies..
Well actually you cabn't blame them, no one's really a born "good at htmler" people.. :| They're just normal peopole...

i got this msn space thing, isnt it the same? or myspace.com is a company appart from Microfost (MSN) i know that some bands use it, like a band here in mexico called 'Panda' but when i saw it i just thought that it was a MSN space that was customize (you know that today you have to pay for premium accounts to have more space, upload things speaking of MSN) so i didnt give it to much importance, when i first registered to get my MSN space account i think that saw or was redirected to a myspace.com site . . .

I love myspace. Mypsace is so convienient. I've found people on there that I haven't talked to for a long time. Not only that but its a good way for me to keep in touch with people I don't get to see very often and even family. Plus its a good way to express yourself in an easy format. Not everyone can create a webpage by html coding but this is an easy way for those people to make a page about themselves. Sometimes though (usually if your a girl) random people message you and say stupid things. Thats one thing that annoys me. Another problem I have with myspace is that sometimes the server goes down or they have general problems that take a bit to fix. I can understand that its overloaded with users now.

ARRRGH!!! I got suckered in and got myself MySpace.

I hate it! I only got it to indulge my friend's curiosity. He wanted to meet few hotties around his area. So not to look as though he was a total loser, he made me sign up and added me to his buddy list.

What a corn ball... I had to fake things and look interesting to boost his "friend circle." Oh god how slow that site is! So many restrictions! So many things going wrong and can't be displayed! Whoever owns the site is probably laughing because I'm sure the site is making money hand over a fist but for all other users I'm sure it must be very frustrating experience.

And what's with pictures of professional escort like ladies? I guess that's the very reason my friend got into it. Do I dare the same connection as my friend is hoping for? HA HA!

I like Myspace. Since I got it I found people that I haven't talk to in years. I think it's great to find old friends. Also you can do whatever you want with your webpage, and the groups that site has are great. You can join a group that talks about topics that interest you and meet newer people.

All the people at my school use Myspace (except me). The problem I am hearing all the time is that it is very, very hard to sign up for. I personally do not like Myspace because I saw my friend's blog and it did not compare with other services I have seen. The main reason it is any good is because it is free.
