I recommend Audacity. It is a very good music editing software, very simply steps to cut portion of songs and adding other portions from a totally different song onto it and create your own title. On top of that it is completely free. It is open sourced and you can download from sourceforge.net

For general music editing purpose like you said, FlexiMusic Audio Editor will do, that is I guess is the cheapest one with those features.

hmm, try googling audacity, its a free audio editing program, not too sure about the functions, i only tried it out for a while as i don't have much need for music editing. well, it IS free =P and from what i recall it wasn't too bad, they probably even have a new version now, so give it a try ^^

well.. once i have friends recommending me WavePad. Its quite a feature packed software eating low on resources One bad thing is i cant save the audio format as wma thou Its free btw, but there is a Masters Edition which cost $$ http://www.nch.com.au/wavepad/

Like what some of the members have said. Use Audacity, it is an open sourced audio editing software, and I have used it on several occasions to cut some mp3 to put into my mobile as a ring tone. Most importantly, it is a free software so all the functions available to you at no cost, no need for any trials or any rubbish such as that. The simple cut and paste, if you want to do some music. And of course, you would need to get yourself on the hands of the LAME mp3 encoder dll, it is needed if you want to export your audacity project files into mp3 or any format which is on offer by Audacity. It is also free, so just google it and you can find it. With regards to Audacity, just go to http://www.sourceforge.net/ and search for Audacity. You won't go wrong with it

Looking For Developers To Help With A Forum Software

Just a little back ground on the software. It was started back in 2005, and has been sold 2 times,

Software To Remove Voice?
(9) I am looking for a free software which is able to remove a voice in a song? To just keep the tune,
something similar to the karaoke, I do know that not many songs provide only the tune for which
there isn't any singing. I have been searching for quite some time as well, but the programs I
found did not do just that. I have also read about how impossible it is to achieve with the programs
because they only filter out some frequencies and it isn't possible to filter out to the point

I have Vegas 5. you? (3) Sony Vegas 5 I use that to edit. I Recently had Pinnicle studios 8 and i didnt really like it. IT
