    I am moving my phpBB2 forums from my old host, my-php.net, to this one. I have full access to my old
    forums. I was wanting help on this to make sure nothing goes wrong. My forum members and I can not
    risk having to lose all of our current information. So what I am thinking I have to do is. Export
    my forums mySQL database with phpmyadmin. Import it into my database here on this host. Move the
    forum directory to this sites ftp account. Change the root directory in my forum settings. I know
    there has to be some things I have to change right? Some files or other settings....

    Well, my partners on my forum has decided to move our site to a newer host. A paid one to be exact.
    And we did that already. Now all we need to do is move our forum over to the new host. We want to
    do this without losing all of our posts and other data. I know it has something to do with the MySQL
    files but I don't really understand it. Some help would be appreciated. We are running Invision
    Power Board 1.3.1 final Also, we're thinking about upgrading our board to a newer version of
    IPB because we heard that its better in more ways than one. But then again, it....

    trap17 and to paid hosting, can I have access to my sites cPanel and FTP so that I can download a
    backup of everything before I go? My credits are at -9 so I cant login to either of them. Thanks.....

    I want to move all the contents of a folder to another folder as I have pointed a domain to the new
    folder. Actually PHP nuke is installed in the folder that I want to move. What is the method to
    move? Is it as tedious as downloading everything to my PC and uploading again to the new folder, or
    is there a simpler method? If I move everything, will the SQL connection stay? or will it go
    beeping??? Thanks Googlue!....

    move them here (hosted @ trap17.com). Is it possible? If yes.. How to restore my backups, what
    should i edit first before restore because, sure the server seting must be different between my old
    hosting and trap17.com. Anybody, please???....
