well,recently my classmate have boughta Motorola SLVR.it is very a nice and thin cellphone once noticing it.last weekend,i help him install a moto itunes on his phone and downloaded a apple theme,which looks like a ipod now i did visit the site http://www.cingularsleek.com,which tell you how the motorola slvr can show perfectly.
My sister got a slvr, it's incredably thin. One of the nicest phones out there in my opinion. It's really expensive though. I think she paid around $600 or $700 Canadian for it. Why someone would want to pay so much for a cellphone is beyond me.
I have the originall ipod phone, the motorola ROCKR. Its a great phone, not too think not too thick, not too long either. Doesn't weigh a pound.
Ive got a 1gb memory card in it so i can store as many songs as i want.
The SLVR looks like the next gen phone from this one. I hope some features were heavily improved. For example on the ROKR you can only download music off your pc, not off itunes directly. I understand it can take longer for a song to download off a cell but in these days, we have the technology so why not implement it ?
Also the usb cable was only USB 1.1. That means that it took me almost 3 minutes for each song i wanted to transfer to my phone. I hope the new SLVR uses USB 2.0 for faster transfer speeds.
Bluetooth on the ROCKR was good, you can even send and receive ringtones or mp3 files with it.
Either way, the most important aspect of it is that ive never actually had a use for the Itunes mp3 player. I maybe listened to it 10-15 times since ive had the phone (got it at launch so its a good few months). I find that im either driving (so listening to my car stereo) or if im not driving, i got other music sources around me louder than a cellphone. Battery also goes by fast when you listen to the songs.
The SLVR looks sweet tho, maybe that'll be my new phone even tho i KNOW i wont use the mp3 features (except for ringtones hehe)
MIDP 3.0 is a new Java profile for Java enabled mobile devices. Motorola is planning to make this
MIDP 2.0 reference implementation open source. So that all developers can make their hands wet with
how Vendor implement their java implementation in their device.....
hi, i got this new phone its a motorola razr. Its the one where you can play mp3 songs on and you
can copy music files from your computer. I tried doing that, copying the files from my computer the
the phone but its not working. I was using a sim card that is used by another phone, which is also a
motorola razt but older version. could that be a problem? also, are there like any programs you can
use to send midi files to your phone so you can use them as ringtones?....

your phone unique. I found this site after I got my new Motorola Slvr because I was looking for
different themes to put on my phone. Use this site at your own risk because if you mess up your
phone while doing anything to it im pretty sure it voids the warranty.....

I recently got a Motorola RAZR on the "Couples Plan" from Cingular Wireless for myself and my wife.
Not to criticize Motorola or Cingular, but besides being the thinnest phone on the market, is the
Motorola RAZR any good? Honestly, I do believe that it has a wonderful sleek design, and that the
system and applications that it runs on is state-of-the-art, but I do not know if I would recommend
it to any other person. If the RAZR excells in any category, it would be design, or applications. If
there are any other Motorola RAZR users, can they please tell me their views on ....
Hm not so sure if this is the right section but this is what i think it fits best in. Anyways i
recently got the Motorola V3x which is a better version of that really slim black Razr that you see
in the ads all the time. As for design its not nearly as thing and not really black either(well
mine) but i think what ithas inside it really makes up for that. (you know. inner values are the

this phone is great, it has itunes built in so you can walk around listening to mp3's and when
someone calls you can resume the song after the call. i think thats one of the coolest features
available....
I keep hearing commercials for the ROKR from cingular. They say that it has iTunes, and can hold a
few hours of songs. Does anyone have one of these phones, or has used one, and can post some pros
and cons about it? My contract for my wireless provider is up in a couple months, and I'm

Does anyone have a Motorola v265? I found that phone a little disapointing... It has the standard
software of all modern-cellphones, it doesn't have games and the camera has terrible resolution.

I'm sorry, but I don't know if I'm looking at the wrong wap sites or something, or maybe
my phone isn't capable of downloading any free ringtones or something. I have a Motorola V220
with cingular, and I've tried three different sites and keep getting a 500 or 502/503 error.
Anybody know what I need to do to my phone, if there IS anything I can do, to make it to where I can

i got the motorola v551 as a gift and it is a great phone i havent had any problems with it...it has
some great features such as making ur own ringtones....10 sec videos...pictures and some great
themes that come preloaded on the phone...and it was a great value for only 90 dollars...i would
highly suggest getting this phone if u sign up with cingular unless u can cough up the money for the
motorola razor.......
