| | Human spinal motor nerves have been grown in a laboratory for the first time in a breakthrough which scientists believe will have far-reaching implications for the treatment of devastating injuries and diseases. Motor nerves branch out from the spinal cord and brain to transmit messages which dictate almost every movement in the body.
The success announced by US scientists could help the victims of spinal cord injuries or lead to new treatments for crippling disorders such as motor neurone disease. Researchers also hope the results will be used to treat incurable conditions such as Parkinson's and insulin-dependent diabetes. They also predict that it could have potential in repairing injury to hearts and nerves. In the shorter term, it will allow scientists to create motor neurone modelling systems for screening new drugs.

Some Things I Hate
all random things that gets on my nerves (2) OK I use the bus for transport right to get into the city, It takes so long about 40mins or more to
get into town and I have to sit near people who stink from body oder. Come on take a bath please lol
you don't have to use fancy perfumes to cover up the smell but at least do something to reduce
it. The next person you site next to isn't guaranteed to be smell impaired. Maybe wash them
cloths you wear every few days or so. I also hate the loud girls who sit in the bus and play their
hip-hop music, I'm only saying that because you never hear someone crank up th....
Bismuth Crystals
Fascinating rhombic lab-grown crystals (4) Bismuth crystals are peculiar, lab-grown stones that form intricate rhombic patterns. The patterns
repeat on different axes and look like small cities. The metal almost seems to be "high-tech",
it's really quite amazing and it's almost ambiguous as to what your looking at. All of the
real information about this strange material is available on Wikipedia of course, but I must
recommend a Google for 'Bismuth Crystals' to see some diverse photographs. Seeing these for
the first time is like the revealing of an entirely different, mathematical aspect of na....
Successfully Installing Joomla [resolved]
Has anyone done it? (2) Hello everyone, I was wondering if anyone around here has successfully installed Joomla on their
Trap17 web space. If so, what was your solution to the session save path dilema? I attempted to make
a custom php.ini with no luck and also attempted to edit the htaccess.txt file. All of these
solutions yielded no result, my session save path is still not set, and I can't properly install
Joomla 1.0.13. Should I try using 1.5 RC4? I doubt that would matter, any advice or help is greatly
appreciated /laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt=....

computer and tv and the desk everyday!) A study conducted by Cancer Research UK
scientists found that the average waistline has increased from 31.8 inches to 33.5 inches. Men are
also nowhere behind the fairer sex , for the research found that the average man’s waistline has

Stem Cell Research - Yea Or Nay
Discussion on Stem Cell Research (3) So as many of you may have heard, GW Bush just vetoed a bill that would have loosened the ban on
funding stem cell research involving human embryos in the US. I'm curious if this aversion to
stem cell research is really that wide spread. Is it an opinion held mostly by conservatives or is
it equally distributed? Should it be funded by the government? I want to know what you people think.
Please don't post if you don't know what a stem cell is. Also, this is NOT a discussion of
abortion... so don't even start. I think most people on these forums who kno....

/ph34r.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='ph34r.gif' /> But, I'm starting a
current thread anyway. The third round in Bahrain saw the debut of the new season Ferrari, which
was a very disappointing result for them. Michael Schumacher failed to finish the race and
Barrichello managed to 'limp' to the end but out of the points paying positions. The lack of
results from Ferrari and the rise of other teams like Renault and Toyota are making the 2005 s....
What Is Serial Endosymbiotic Theory?
How did cells develop from simple to complex? Mitochondria and chloro (4) I am not sure how many people are familiar with cells and biology. I wanted to share something that
I researched for a class. I am in a botany class and one of the things we had to do for our class
is an evolution project. We could do it on anything at all. I have always been facinated by
mitochondria. For those of you that do not know mitochondria are small organelles in our cells.
They are the power house of the cell. They create and convert food particles for simplicities sake
into ATP which is our main energy source for the things we do. For example I am usin....
Thc Found To Kill Leukemia Cells
(THC = active ingredient in marijuana) (12) http://www.affymetrix.com/community/wayahe...c_leukemia.affx A group in London discovered that
THC helps to kill leukemia cells by affecting a certain gene. MKP3, enhanced by THC, helps stop the
MAPK pathway, which some scientists believe is a factor in the survival of tumor cells. So another
plus for marijuana? Think that the U.S. will ever legalize it nationally, even if just for medical
purposes? I think we're just too conservative as a country to do it, even if it has some big
benefits =/....
Stem Cell Research
Bush (3) Since Bush has started he has only been demanding war and making US fall behind in new things. For
example the stem cell research. In my opinion stem cells hold an important key to life. Bush has
said that he will not allow the destruction of new life for others. But more recently a professor at
University of Connecticut has come up with a new way to produce embryonic cells: cloning. He says
that he can make embryos with cloning. The problem is that he need 10 million dollars for the
operation and Bush has refused to found the operation. So that proves he is not allowing....

chinese second manned space flight. (2) little information: http://www.rthk.org.hk/rthk/news/englishne..._56_260345.html This is the
second manned space flight. I must say that the space technology of China have been improved. This
time will bring two spacemen to the space to do study. The period will last for about 5 days. That
is great improvement. I think more and more countries have abilites to develop space flight. I hope
all countries can use this technology to maintain the safety of the earth. And try to find new
planet that suit for human to live. /laugh.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:midd....
Forza Motor Sport Vs. Grand Turismo 4
Graphics Comparision (1) Here, I'll compare graphics between Forza and GT 4 and select a winner. As it seems, GT 4 has

My New Job
kinda getting on my nerves (9) got a new job and it's kinda getting on my nerves. I hate working with people trying to design a
site. Acutally i was hired as a web designer but as it turns out i'm just the one coding these
really idiotic sites. trying to explain to people that sites aren't just about pretty pictures
and more about having clear and maybe interesting navagation. One that people feel is interesting
and different but still easy. I'm stuck working with people who like to lead people dead pages
and making individuals have to move all the way to the begining of the site or se....
Free Affiliate Management Software?
Anybody use any of these, successfully? (2) I'm experimenting with setting up my own affiliate program. Since I'm not sure if it will
work for me (my products are just tutorials) I don't want to sink any money into it. I have an
idea for how to do this from scratch--free and easy--but I need to be sure it will work, first, and
be worth doing. I'd love to hear from any of you who have had experience setting up your own
affiliate programs--especially free or cheap--since those are the ones that would be my competition
if I can develop my own and make it fly. TIA, Suz....
A Home Grown Army System
(22) Given the problem of the army system I wonder if it might be better to just develop a home grown
army system from the members here. That way the people on the board who no the code really well and
be easily able to modify it. The code should have three parts, the data maintenance, the
computation, and the, user interface. Different teams could work on different parts and coordinate
there effort. The idea is to keep the software as clear and modular as possible. I would volunteer
to work on the computational aspects. This will include calculating the damage caused by we....
Successfully promoting your web site
(7) I am wondering how others advertise their web sites. I know about pay-per-click, reciprocal linking,
ffa links, directories, forums, message boards, adding to the top search engines, etc. How do you
market your site? Do you do anything off-line such as paper ads, brochures, leaflets, classifieds,
signs, banners, or radio ads? Which promotion software do you recommend? Has anyone ever used
Dynamic Submission, Page Promoter, Internet Business Promoter, Exploit Submission Wizard,
SubmitWolf, TrafficSeeker or the many others out there?....
