I love trap17 and its a great way to actually host a decent forum.. but.. would it be possible to also host gameservers? they shouldn't be that big and it depents on ur credits how many slots you've got.. for example: I've got 49 credits, and a regular slot for a random game costs 7 credits. Do the maths, its a 7-slot gameserver. If u want a 30 slots gameserver, you'll need 210 credits for 1 month..
I can promise you that hosting gameservers will gain trap17 loads, and i mean loads of new members. I know, its more expensive, since it takes more of the internet connection.. but you'll also gain more money by the advertisements u can make on the servers, and more members on the forum. Since it requires a high creditamount per month alot of peeps will be very active.
Please tell me what you think about this idea,

It is a good suggestion and all but missed a major factor, a gaming server takes a huge load and it would be big enough to keep having websites go offline. Also bandwidth is getting very expensive and you can give that much for free on a gaming server and so the closes you could get with a decent gaming server is through the computinghost VPN package or something similar that has a lot of space and bw to be able to run a gaming server.

Websites keep going down as it is. I don't think the environment is stable enough to even add much more sites let alone game servers. It would be nice, but it's impractical.

I see the point.. but as long as you put the right amount of credit needed and a nice special server for gaming up, it wont keep them down.. And, it'll get alot of new customers wich can might make more sponsors, so more money for servers... I was just brainstorming some

hosting credits. This is especially true in the reviews. It really isn't that hard. Here's
my advice on doing so efficiently. 1. The number of posts you make at trap17 doesn't determine
how many credits you receive. The staff even announced it, and it should be quite obvious, really.
Credits are determined by the content and quality of your posts. Make longer ones, I guess. 2. So
how do I sustain a nifty amount of credits? First, set a time you can post at trap17 ....
Negative Hosting Credits Suggestion
(0) im suggesting that there should be a limit that your credits can go into the negatives. a while ago
i was really busy with school, sports, and everyday stuff. during this time, i did not have much
time to get online and i stopped going to this site for awhile. now i am back and want to get my
site back up so i can try some things. the thing is, my credits are way below zero. currently im at
-31 hosting credits. and you need 5 credits to get your site back up (i think its 5, not sure). i
was thinking that it might be an okay idea if you put a limit to how far your credits....

they get a dollar (in ur case a trap17 dollar) which then when ppl have made enough posts like 50
