even the tec's at Microsoft think that Firefox is better than IE (the windows default browser), why not do somthing to make FireFox the main windows browser? meaning have windows XP from here on out have Firefox instead of IE.... that could bring firefox some money, and would piss a friend of mine off really badly it's bad enough i am thinking about trying to cinvince the super attendant of our district to have all of the schools browsers changed to Firefox instead of IE.... i jsut need to type up the pro's and con's but i dont know if i ever will... lmao
Compared with Mozilla Firefox, micrsoft's IE 7 looks really bad and lousy. And with firefox 2 coming out, microsoft is going to have no chance whatsoever. Let's hope that their Windows Vista would be up to scratch.

Maybe they want the common typical user who doesn't know anything but Internet Explorer to think that it looks like Firefox. It might be some weird form of advertising for newbs that don't know the difference. Firefox is way better than IE.
even opera owns ie... well i dont think that ie is that bad of a web broswer, its just that its the most abused of the lot. it takes crap from the majority of spyware and viruses as its very maintream. if firefox became the new ie, i'd say ththat it will suffer the same abuse from hackers and other idiots wanting to mess around. its a matter of impact i guess, ie is just abusable so it takes it all.

It is much more likely that ie is more (most?) vulnerable to running malicious code. This argument that ____ from Microsoft is vulnerable because it is dominant, and _____ from _____ is not bothered by nasty code because it isn't really doesn't wash. Most of the time, software that is secure is not vulnerable becuase it is secure, well written, etc. Look at the recent series of adds from Macintosh. They are not claiming to be secure through being unknown, they are secure because they are secure.
I haven't downloaded and used IE rc1 and therefore don't known that microsoft's employees used firefox. I haven't been used the ie a long time, even IE 7 actually lanuched, the exception is depends on it security. Firefox I have used about half to 1 year. It provides much better than ie for the security features. My computer was not comprisoed for a long time. So, I don't have to repair or reformat it every half of year.
Besides that, the new IE interface is great. it collpsed few used items and provides more space for browsing.
This is one of the more funny posts Ive seen kicking about, I have been using IE7 since it came out and abandoned FF as IE7 has a larger area for displaying pages but when I first started using it boy was it crap, all sorts of invading spyware and adware was getting in and randomly installing. Did my head in, was after a fresh OS installation as well so you can image my anger at that point. I use McAfee Total Protection 2007 and have never had problems since, non what so ever. Now I get the occasional message pop up from McAfee telling me its killed some programme, NICE Everyone should get it who has IE
i wonder if they make internet explorer and use mozilla... do they make windows and use linux ?? that whould be even more funny... a browser is a browser but a hole operating sistem
Why do you people always compare safety with whether something is known (famous) or not?
Firefox ALWAYS asks me, if I want to install somehting, or not, and it NEVER EVER does anything on it's own, aside from checking for updates (and even that can be turned off)...
IE on the other hand, will install whatever it likes, and there are like millions of little holes you can punch a bigger hole through them... Firefox was "ported" to windows, from Mozilla, a browser made for Unix systems... Unix is built for networks, and accent was on security... Therefore, it's built more secure... I don't see why people refuse to accept, that Firefox is safer, and much more functional, than IE... I was once IE fan, and claimed that Firefox is nothing more, than rebelion, and it in fact wasn't better than IE... I rarely caught any ciruses or adware with IE, but there was some, occasionaly... Then, I tried Firefox... And now there isn't ANY adware or viruses, that appear on my computer from nowhere...
Firefox is safer, wheter some like it or not... And it's gaining in support every day, more and more... And hopefully, it will push IE where it belongs, in the gutter
Well theres no harm in using the best browser. see mac have outlook express from microsoft. so no doubt the best browser is firefox . I have used opera Ie Firefox and out of these i find firefox as one of the best browsers from them. Well most of us use windows operating system the browsers may change however they all work on windows platform. so we should take the best and leave the rest.
In an internal memo Microsoft detailed how it plans to tie Win7 and Windows Live. It seems these
guys never learn. They don't don't get tired of monopolizing everything. I just pray the
anti-trust guys will do a good job on this one. Below is part of the blog by Mary Jo Foley about the
memo titled " Microsoft internal memo details Windows 7-Windows Live ties ": " In
January, I mentioned an internal Microsoft memo I had seen which provided details of how Microsoft
plans to more tightly integrate its Windows 7 operating system with Windows Live service....
QUOTE Many people are switching from Internet Explorer to alternative browsers such as Firefox
and Safari. Though that might make them feel more secure, the shift has also opened new doors for
bad guys. Case in point: We have no IE bugs to report this month, but both Firefox and Safari have
been hit hard. So forget the idea that just because you've switched to a new browser,
you're magically safer. You may be for a time, but to stay safe with any software, you need to
keep current with fixes. Firefox Holes In a somewhat dubious recognition of Firefox's....
I am one guy who has always beleaved that when MS made XPsp2 they raised the standards for them
selves. the package was just too good for their own good. When Sp3 came out I didnt hesitate to
download it and what did I get? The first thing that i noticed was I could no longer use remote
desktop. i'm sure this has since been rectified in RC2 but it realy turned me off. I never
realised any gains in the SP. Still on the subject I found Adrian Kingsley-Hughes' blog titled

If you use FireFox as compared to IE, You'll see just in the way pages are viewed the feel and
look of them are smoother the IE's rough view of sites. You may not know what I mean, but think
of how smooth firefox is compared to other browsers. safari is smooth, but still rough, and Opera
is a little rough like IE too, I think FireFox is the most user friendly and smoothest.....

Club Live search club is a game site hosted by Microsoft to try and make there search engine

I have a problem in a site I am creating. I have styled my post content links in the following
way. CODE #post-content a { background-color: #bf6f3c; color: #fff;
padding: 2px 2px 1px 2px; border-bottom: 1px solid #7f4926; } #post-content
a:hover { color: #f5fac7; } And when I insert an link image like so: There
seems to be an extra border inherited from my #post-content a style. I have attached the screenshot
to show the problem. This was how my link image should look like: CODE #post-content a img { ....
Well for starters, the installer says it all. It took me 75 mins to install and i got a 4 CPU 3.5
gHz processor, the images still have their magenta background and they look like its been drawn on
paint. You go make an application but you dicide its rubbish - so you delete it, and unlike Basic
and C# your project is still listed with no images and the link is broken, so it just wastes space.

Mozilla Firefox development team is curently working on the third reincarnation of its browser,
which already gor to the fourth beta version. Authors say that apart from gaining quite some speed,
they also managed to lower the usage of RAM. ArsTechnica decided to test what they say and so
they tested Firefox 3 beta 4, Firefox 2.0.0.12, Opero 9.5 beta, Internet Explorer 7, Internet
Explorer 8 ter Safari 3.0.4 beta in the Talos framework on Windows Vista. Talos framework emulates
normal usage of a browser with opening and closing of sites. IE8 and Safari both crashed d....
No seriously, I've been using Firefox since 0.x releases. I loved it. Every release, despite
having no huge features, was a great update. Version 3, however, totally messes everything up. Its
default interface is ugly. And no Home button, really ??? (ps. I kno i can drag it back from the
bookmarks toolbar but still, its stupid). The address bar search thing. I liked the concept, but I
am so used to the old way, this actually distracts me, I don't want to search my history
everytime I type a new address. Plus the slide out is huge now making the whole thing feel t....

News: Microsoft video game banned for sex scene Source:
http://today.reuters.com/news/articlenews....NGAPORE-BAN.xml What do you think about that, a
Microsoft video game banned for sex scene, in Singapore, i guess this must be an humiliation, and
the fact that it is the first it happened to the giant company Microsoft makes it even more hard to
digest for the Microsoft and for all the people involved on the creation of the Microsoft game,
namely, "Mass Effect" which is a highly anticipated futuristic space adventure game, a cool game in
my opinion by the way. I care ....

Thanks to Microsoft Encarta, so it was my reference from 1997 in the most of my researches,
generally it was oriented to everyone wants to know somthing but now in Microsoft Encarta 2007 there

QUOTE It seems that Microsoft has started flagging Gmail as a virus in their virus scanning
software Windows Live OneCare. Many people are reporting that every time they open Gmail, a warning
is displayed telling the user they are infected with "BAT/BWG.A". Now, either Gmail is a virus, or
Microsoft is generating false positives. Some affected by this "virus" say other anti-virus products
do not pick up the infection — to me, this is a bit suspicious. So who should be responsible for
fixing the problem? Either Google can wait for Microsoft to update their virus def....
I never really liked Firefox just because i always thought it was just as good as my now 2nd
favorite browser, Opera. It had all the same capabilities and actually Opera was the first to have
tabbed browsing and is the safest of all of them. When I heard about the new Firefox i wanted to try
it out considering i needed it anyways to test out my websites. I got the iFox Smooth skin also to
test out the skins. I have to say i love it. The spell check it awesome. I would have downloaded

Hello all, I just got my hands on the Microsoft Publisher, which comes with the Microsoft Office
2003. I feel this is the best website designing tool ... much better than Dreamwevar and the likes.
I had finished making my site in under 10mins. Also the menu options, to put on your site are very
good n advance. The best part is that it not only lets you create fully customizable sites without
knowing absolutely anything about HTML, it also allows you to do other publishing tasks like making
greetings, stationary, visting cards etc. This is not an advert, but i think ....
