Manchester United Are Going To Moscow ! - All English Champions League Final

~Upnorf Cr3w~
well well well. United pulled it out of the bag. And of all the people to get the goal it had to be our main man Scholes.

What a game. I think United fully deserved the 1-0 win and played very well. Over the 2 legs we defended very well. After the Ronaldo penalty miss in the Nou Camp i thought that was our chance. But what a finish by Scholes. A little bit of luck i agree but he took it well.

Anyway were there in Moscow and we will face Liverpool or Chelsea. Im not bothered who it is as both will be hard games. But if United play like they didn tonight i wont have many complaints.

United for the European Cup i say.....

Paul Scholes he scores goals biggrin.gif

So its a all english final as we know. Manchester United Vs Chelsea.

Will be a sticky game with both clubs looking to win the game. It could go anyway, But its quality for the english game that we have performed well in the champs league.

Come on United.

I'd like Chelsea to win if only for Michael Ballack to win the Champion's League. Go Ballack!

Just caught a great 10 minute interview with SAF on the Football Show on Sirius w/ Giorgio Chinaglia and Charlie Stillitano. I have never heard him speak that long before.

Stillitano cracked him up by telling him that Chinaglia is the "White Drogba." Giorgio was not pleased!

He was in quite the jovial mood and said the team was in great confidence heading to Moscow.

He also said that he thought the squad were still developing and that they would actually improve over the next few seasons! (loved that)

He had special praise for Ronaldo, Giggs and Scholes, but he also noted that the hardest thing for him next Wed would be to determine who gets into the match b/c the whole side was worthy of starting.

Cannot wait for the opening whistle!

    will he succeed (1)
So Berbatov got his transfer to Man U for a massive fee of 30 million on the last day of the
transfer season. The question that remains is will he succeed. He is an impressive player and was
awesome at Tottenham. However he has major problems with his fitness levels and ego. Berbatov on a
frustrating night seems to divulge his anger towards others. Numerous times during tottenham matches
I would see him shouting at other tottenham members and display a frustrated body language when he
wasn't up to his game. Do you think this attitude will sit well with the current st....

The Celtics won the NBA championship. This kind of got lost in the Willie Randolph fireing (at least

wants to take the Rangers away from Ted Dolan. The league has filed a counterclaim against the
Garden in U.S. District Court in Manhattan, seeking the go-ahead to proceed with internal
disciplinary measures that could take the Rangers away from Dolan. The NHL says that the Garden has
violated several league rules to which it consented as a prerequisite for franchise ownersh....
  5. Are Leeds Rhinos The Greatest Rugby League Side Ever?
    (1)
Now, I'm one of Leeds' biggest critics when it comes to Rugby League. I despise Hetherington
for the Hunslet saga, and the recent wanting of £3.2m ordeal with Iestyn Harris. Apart from that
though Leeds Rhinos have blown me away this season. They are just a class above anyone else. I'm
a big fan of Rugby League and watch the sport as much as I can and have to take my hat off to the
Rhinos as they are just something else this season. They were the nearly boys for 32 years and
until 2004 hadn't won the top flight since 1972, since that though they have ....

For those who enjoy watching wonderful footballers in action - of the current crop of Premiership
talent, who would you pick in your squad if you were given the luxury of having any 16 Premier

Gray and Jamie Redknapp debated over who to put in their Premier League Team of the Season. Well,
this is a bit similar. Straight to the point: when watching Premiership football what players do you
enjoy watching most? I'm talking the most skilful, or maybe you love seeing a Joey B....

think it's a sure bet. as long as 1 Santana stays healthy 2 the mets can get another catcher.

no longer a joke since winning the world series back in 2003 to break the 86 year curse that was
placed on them after Babe Ruth was traded to the Yankee's. Interestingly to note that the Red
Sox won the world at away games and have swept the series as well. So now that the season is
officially over who will the Red Sox's trade off or replace, and of course the big question will
be will they repeat? So congrats to the BoSox's for winning the 2007 World Series....

success and sure that future belongs on that shorter version. But now there is a new era emerging

to play United, who last won the title four years ago, hold a seven-point advantage over Chelsea,
who have won it for the past two seasons. United had beaten Manchester City 1-0 on Saturday thanks

A brief history of Champions League Champions League is most popular football (soccer)
championship in the world. Champions League started in 1995 when first French sports daily
L'Equipe, mentioned that it would be good to make an European championship that would be played
on Wensday's night. At first it wasn't ment to be just a championship for Leauge champions
but only for clubs that would be invited by the term of bringing the most crowd to the game. As
league evolved now it is played by League Champions which based on their UEFA league score tabl....

I'd to like if theres anyone in England, NZ, or Australia here that follow the Rugby League. I
mainly watch the NRL (National Rugby League), and have been following the Manly Seaeagles since the
early 90s. It's finals time down here, and since my team has been knocked out. I've still
been watching the other teams. The Brisbane Broncos was the first through to the GF by defeating
Cantebury-Bankstown Bulldogs. The Broncos will be going to play the winner out of St

  21. English Premiereship 05/06
The title already won after 6 matches? (1)
Well, the English Premiereship has got underway again. Each team has its spending spree, some more,
some less. The most expensive move is Essien from Lyon to Chelsea for 26 million pounds, but the
most talked-about move is probably Michael Owen from Real Madrid to Newcastle for 17million.
Although i really wanted to see him play for LIverpool again, the 17m price tag is too expensive for
us. Now 6 matches had gone and we can see some kind of shape of this season already.... Chelsea -
just won 6 matches out of 6 from the start and now leading the league by 7 point! ....
  22. Uefa Champions League Final 2005
At last we'll have the Champion of Europe. (9)
As my beloved Liverpool is in the Final tonight, i feel like giving a bit of preview and my thought
about the match... Liverpool vs AC Milan Although they were disappointing in the English League
this season, Liverpool's form in Europe had been a totally different story. Many points to the
fact that we've got a new spanish coach and some new spanish signings which suit european
football better than english football. And by taking Liverpool to their first European's biggest
cup final for the first time in 21 years, Rafael Benitez is seen as a god to most Red....
  23. Uefa Champions League Semi-final
It's all down to four teams... (6)
Once again i'll have my thought before champions league ties. Now it's down to four teams
and the favourites are... you know it. Milan v PSV Not much to say about this match. Why? Because
while Milan has been cruising through, beating Man UTD and Inter relatively easily, PSV had barely
held on against Lyon at their own turf to survive the penalty shoot-out. Milan is a BIG BIG
favourite here, so the pressure might be on them a bit. And PSV's organised team cannot be
underestimated. However, i can't see PSV getting through really, even if van Bommel turns....
  24. Eufa Champions League Quarter Final
    (13)
The draw for this year quarter-final have been drawn. My team, Liverpool, faced a tough task in
playing against Juventus from Italy. Juve has been doing very well in the Champions League this
year, coming out top of their group in the group stage and beat Real Madrid in the second round in
an extra time in the second leg. Their defensive record really stood up as they only conceded 3
goals in matches, only one against the Galacticos at Bernabue. We also have to play first leg at
home so not conceding goal at home is a must coz we'll definitely find it difficult to s....
