I mean like changing layout and things etc.
And if so is it that challenging. |

They say that it's difficult to use... I don't know why... Last time im planning to use a Content Management System similar to Mambo on my site but I decided to find a free template and use it and code it instead of using a CMS system because it's good to create a website where you put efforts it in... so you'll be proud of yourself that you made it... check out mine http://www.karlo.co.nrChao!

Cms Made Simple
A weird experience for this Mambo user (10) I came across yet another CMS called CMS Made Simple (I'll just call it CMSMS from here on). Of
course, it is free and open source, and it is very compact (its latest stable distribution is 1.89
MB zipped, Mambo's is a lot larger, like 8 or more MB proably). Any page loads quickly, and are
clutter free. Part of CMSMS's features are its templating system, which works pretty
differently. In Mambo, there are the index.php template, and its accompanying template_css.css
files. In CMSMS, there's the template (stored in the DB as far as I know), and a whole bun....

through them ? -cause the .swf format is available for some years now-.......
How Do You Work Mambo? Could You Help?
Same subject, different questions. (7) I would like to know how to use Mambo? Can you add pages to it? I see this frontpage and content
management, and I am once again lost! I need to know several things. What will allow me to
build a complete working site that is free, that DOESN'T look like a blog, and that can add
multiple pages to it. Is it possible to use a template? How do you even install a template. I
know, a lot of questions and I hope this is even in the right area. Please help so I can find out
what to do. Here is what I want: A program that will help me build a full working site.....

Info about the re-branded mambo (5) Joomla! to those who don't currently know, Mambo has ceised development, and in its
place is the re-branded Joomla!. Its just had its first V1.0 release (yes v1.0) Anyways, jsut go
round the site and have a looka round and see what it has to offer /smile.gif' border='0'
style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' /> if you've used Mambo before, then it looks
pretty much the same, but has lots of new fixes etc, but is easily upgraded, just consult the online
help section. i'm personally going to downlaod it and have a tinker with it and try....

post here. I personally need some tutorial for using CSS when creating Mambo templates, and some

What's the best Mambo resource site? (3) I have my website running on mambo open source. I've found it quite easy and friendly to manage.
Well, no doubt it is the the best CMS (Content Management Site, or something like that). I have
also found lots of useful sites which distribute free mambo stuff: modules, components, mambots,
cool templates and upgrading; but I still look for a great site which gives REALLY COOL (and I mean
REALLY COOL) templates for mambo sites. If anyone knows about some of them, I'd thank for the
