i guess they just didnt bother to read on guides and stuff? male,16.
hi, i'm almost 18 years old, but i think there are a lot of members who are much younger than me, though they sometimes (most of the time) know much more than me...
I am a man, who is almost 27 years old now. Just a few months away to become twenty seven. I think I'll be one of the most seniors here in terms of age. Is anyone out there who can compete me? lol... But age doesn't really matter when it comes to designing and programming, what matters more is skill and experience in the same fields.
Im a 15 year old male. I feel young now
By the way, I noticed that males tend to use computers more too. Do you thing it is nature or nurture that causes this split in who does what. I tend to side with nurture more but out of me and two sisters (one older, one younger) I was by far more drawn to the computer than the other two when my dad brought home a windows 2.5 (I was 4 then... so my little sister probably had a good reason not to be fascinated, given that I am 2 years older than her and computers then were less attractive than they are now, with a big switch on the case, etc)
I'm older than you, dragonfly. I'm just a poor old woman
It's not that girls aren't interested in or knowledgeable about computer stuff- I think that sometimes it's a matter of being "intimidated" about talking about it because "boys are smarter at these things" There are guys like my brother-in-law who only know how to check their email and look at porn, but they won't listen to anything I have to say about computers because I am a girl. It's kind of like when I was in younger and I was really into music (still am) I played bass, and even went to college for songwriting and music history. Guys still didn't believe I knew what I was talking about or that my opinions mattered.
17/m. After all, if I did happen to be a female, my user name wouldn't be Caveman, would it? heh heh
Cavewoman...I don't think I'd be inclined to go with something like that...It doesn't have a solid flow to it...oh well QUOTE(canute24 @ Mar 1 2005, 10:38 AM) Don't go by the boy or man thing its just your gender that matters. I am 21.5yrs. AHEM!! lol Well for your information theres quite a lot of girls coming here to create sites etc... Some of them are from thefanlistings.org... because of me.. YEH ME put trap there lol.... I just turned 14... And I'm totally ethusiastic about my website... o.O... most of my girlfriends hate computers... they think it's boring so I guess your half right...but my bessie luvs em like me. If you don't notice there are LOADS OF girls out there with blogs and tons of networks etc... I mean the good and creative sites are mostly made by females...I guess no one notices becausee it's the females...
I'm male last time I checked, and 14.
But I guess I am kind of more mature than some 14 year olds, as I can chat with ppl like 18-30 and actualy relate to them and chill with them, I dont really know why but its easyer because allot of other 13-whatever year olds seem like kiddys to me sometimes.
I'm a 15-year-old male, w00t! Most girls that I know know nothing about computers, but then again there are people like Bexa who are great with them
I'm 15 and male, and almost every girl at my school, despite its nerdiness, (you have to apply, take a test, get teacher recommendations, and have really good grades, it specializes in science and tech, AND there are 7 programming courses, AND one is required) whenever I say something about programming, they're like O.o nerd.

Why so much difference between the numbers of boys and girls?
I am 25 n am a male.. Like rejected said, girls are nuts when it comes to computer knowledge. I have had quite a few girls around trying to learn some computer knowledge from me. I have had to try t teach a girl hardware tech but...oh...it was a cmplete waste of precious time and effort.
Male here, 24, in a way self-employed repairing computer parts and doing reinstalls. Have at least done a bit of retail and admin in my time, I dont mind customer interaction, but do get the occasional bad customer from time to time
i am a 17 year old male. it is hard for me to say whether i am a boy or a man because some people would see me a different. i see myself as a man but i am not a man at the same time. i am a boy but i am not a kid.
