check out the ~~konfuze.com~~ website, they are a great community.
they are always in development but this program allows you to
create your own mmorpg. it gives you a server and client package
so if you turn the server on and have the client avalable for downlaod
on your website, they can connect to your server and play your MMORPG

Are you sure that you can make a mmorpg from that website. Is the servers for free? If so that would be pretty cool to create a mmorpg though I think that it would require alot of skills in programming to create a game that is mmorpg.

Is the download free, or do you need to purchase it?
then...if it is free... are you sure it's legal? i mean...there are so many people out there that dont realize that RPG maker is...and they dont think anyone got in trouble...BLAH!...lol
anyway... please tell me because i am working on an mmorpg using flash, and it is quite dificult. If this would make it easier then i cant think of a reason not to use it.

So did I, and I found out the reason - the domain has expired.

It seems that the people running this website are using a host that needs constant payment/activity, and unfortunately the owners have not delivered. So the site has expired and been redirected.

Good reason to close this topic, perchance?

thats really cool! I tried to make my own MMORG at it is working so far. I have made the models and weopens all I need to do now is make the realms/worlds.

Is the site free? Does it let you make any other type of game? Like Puzzle games? (I'm just using that as an example. I don't like puzzle games.) You think it's this easy to create an MMORPG eh?

Well, youre wrong. You can go and create something like what you are planning, but it won't be flexible. It will have ready buttons and etc etc. Also, most of these are medieval based, so its impossible if you want to create a Sc-Fi one.

You can't create a game with another software creator, you do it with your programming skills. Unlike computer software, 3D games are much harder to develop by yourself because they require a tremendous amount of time and money, especially if you're trying to develop a Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game. Games like WOW, CS, AO, EVE... have their own complete teams of programmers, graphic designers, music producers, team leaders, managers and so on.

If you want to start with game developing, I suggest you start with learning C++ and DirectX and build your way up. For help, you should see GameDev.

Make Your Own Mmorpg

Well, I'm completely new to this creating MMORPGs but I know I will be great at it because ive given Pirates Online lots of great tips to make their game better and I figured, instead of doing that, why not make my own game, of course, it will have missions and level ups and stuff like that and it will b free, thats the best thing of all, lol, anyway, I only as, if someone has already made their mmorpg and has it up running, can they explain to me how do I first start, like what I do as soon as I'm interested in creating one, what site do I download whatever I am to be looking for, and Please send it to my email at enricojoevanjohnson@yahoo.Com.
