I heard someone talking about Magic Taxi, which is an email service that provides the now standard 2GB of space for free. The difference here is that 50% of the revenue generated by the site is passed onto a charity of your choice from the list shown here. The charities are all UK based charities, but you can join from anywhere in the world.

Each email that you send or receive generates revenue for the site, which results in revenue for the charities. It may only be a small amount for each email, but most people send and receive many emails a day, and with lots of people participating more money can be generated. You get the standard 2GB of space, along with some basic anti-spam and anti-virus stuff, POP3 access and supposedly a calendar and to-do list.

Unfortunately their site seems to have some problems at the moment with some PHP errors and some pages not appearing, but they have only been running a short while and hopefully the site will be fully working soon.

Thats awesome. But still I am gonna stay with gmail.

The reasons?

Well to tell you the truth gmail is a largely used FREE email service. Amost every second the ammount of space available per customer is slowly expanding. Its easy to get an invite and there are numerous possibilities and plenty of space. Google is a very large growing coorporation and with that gmail is just one of the best email services out there. If you dont have it yet then shame on you!

its funny though gmail is so popular and yet they have not gone public with it meaning you can sign up from their site without the need of a invite.

btw last time i check google staock was over $350 a share, that alot of money for one share of their stock no wonder they have so much money.

This actually is a very good idea, but it's a bit of a waste that you can only donate 50% of the revenue generated by your magic taxi account to United Kingdom charity funds, while I would rather let them send the money to international funds, because well, this way the United Kingdom will get everything hehe.
