I just installed tiger x86 on my pc, and it works great. I feel it's faster than xp. I have a feeling mac will take over the pc world in future. My sound is not working and Quartz Extreme is not supported on my graphic card, rest everything is fine.
Can any one with a similar expereice talk about it.
Wow you did? i alway hear that you couldent put mac on a computer that supports windows. anyways as for similart experiences i have a mac mini. thats as similar as i get.
I'm not really a fan of the mac mini, it doesn't really have enough RAM, anyway... Why wouldn't your sound work? I've got to say it seems like a good idea, but I can't see a point for me at the moment. Nice idea though, let us know how it all turns out.
I heard that you can get a Mac face for computers that support Windows, my friend had it installed a while ago, he said it slowed his computer down alot...
I'd rather stick with Windows for the moment... but as for Mac being the leader in the computing industry, I think it's quite possible in the future, it is a very good OS.
Whoa thats awsome, The power of an awsoem PC with the elegant software of a mac. And mac mini's work great if you get the right amount of Ram. 1 gig is plenty for most people. I cool with 512. But thats awsome. Cool deal man.
As someone sitting on a Mac box (albeit an old one) now, i'll say that i would sacrifice at least one goat for the opportunity to run OSX on an x86 box. Name the other OSes that can both baby new users and give nerds a *nix terminal?

Oh yes, and Apple is going to build a touch of DRM into the OS and then lock it onto Mac hardware, if you beleive slashdot. You'd have to get a specially hacked up version if you wanted to run OSX on an x86 box, and of course we're not allowed to talk about that
Sound is'nt working? Well check and see if your sound card is compatible with Mac Software (suprisingly not all do) and maybe try installing your sound driver again and see if that works.
Hey that's interesting...may I know which emulator did you choose to install MAC on. Secondly, from where did you get the CD or ISO of the Tiger. Becasue I am also planning to do so on my old PC. I am a newbie when it comes to customising the XP installation but I found it interesting. I was
amazed when I saw what nLite could do for me, although I faced some problems. I filled every field
in the Unattended category but still my setup asked me for the language settings. I also wanted to
slipstream WM10 into the setup CD but everyone was pointing me to this link , which does not work.

Hi all, I am running a Mac and I have a Windows XP home edition already installed on another
partition via boot camp. Then I ran into Parallels and began installing it. However, instead of
using the existing installation via boot camp, it is asking me to provide a cd key to activate XP. I
couldn't possibly provide a cd key as I already used it to activate. How can I get Parallels to
use the existing installation without asking me to provide another cd key? I gave up and thought of
uninstalling Parallels but I couldn't do it on the Windows side as I was require....

Transfered all of the database files over. On my new forums all of the old posts and everything
shows up right. The problem is when I click the "Go to administration panel" at the bottom it links
me to log into my ACP on my old forums. It changes the url and all. If I hover over the link it
says that it will be directed to the right way, the way I want, but it doesn't. Does anyone
know anyway to fix this?....
I've chosen to install WordPress manually and things were going well so far...until I hit an
installation error when I tried to run the install.php file on my browser. For the record, I
logged into CPanel and went into MySQL Databases, created the databases, the username and added the
user to the database - as suggested in the installation procedure. Perhaps there's a mistake in
my wp-config.php file that might've caused the error. If there's something I should change,

Hi, i need a little help if possible, i have a multi forum hosting mod for ipb 1.31 ok.. I want to
install this but the install text included is a little unclear.. I already have a copy of ipb 1.31
installed and running (with users and posts), i want to install this mod but i also want to keep all
my db user/post info and still be able to use my existing forums with just a link to the forum
hosting form. Could someone please look at the documents included with this mod and give me more
clear instructions on how to do this? Do i need to install a second copy of the IPB UP....
Hey everyone. I've gone without the Sims 2 for a while now and I just went out and spent
$50 for another copy of it. Well I uninstalled my other copy since I cracked the first disk of
it and I couldn't get a no-cd patch to work. Then I installed my new copy and when I put the
first disk in, it starts up but after that nothing happens and the Sims 2 white screen that pops up
disapears. And when I open up Task Manager, Sims2.exe just drops off the list, and when I press the
Sims 2 icon on my desktop, the white screen comes up again and after that the infamous,....

i downloaded this file for my php site...and it didnt work for me because the files i installed in
there couldnt link together correctly...there are 3 folders a sql, Public_html and Conversion tool
in the shoutbox file i just downloaded...i installed all the folders into my server...then i tried
adding the block and activating my shoutbox block and shout module....but they didnt quite work
because they had to communicate with the stuff in the sql folder....this was a problem becuase my
phpnuke stuff is all in a folder called "nuke" which is in my Public_html folder....s....
Guys i was trying to install a phpbb modded forum, i followed this tutorial i had, and was about to
install it fully when i got this error message An error occurred trying to update the database
Table 'phpbb_admin_nav_module' already exists If anyone could tell me how to fix this it
would be greatly appreciated. EDIT: I talked to a friend about the subject and he said i had to
enter something after phpbb_ in the prefix for data tables or something, so then it came up with a

Hi all! so what is xampp, well it is an insallation that contains php, mysql, filezila, mercury
mail, phpmyadmin, perl and the common products a developer could need. What i like the most about
xampp is the easiest way you can install it, also you can switch from php4 to php5 with an useful
switcher contained in the installation folders, i never had the chance to have php5 up and running
and nor mysql4.x so if you were like me with lots of problems in the php or mysql installation
definately this product is for you. But what about the ftp folders? good question, i ha....
