I am new to this site and was wondering what some other people think of this company and the free
web hosting....

I'm not trying to put Trap17 down, but I've been getting kind of overwhelmed with all of the
topics Trap17 has to offer. It's kind of a good thing, because you always have something to
write about, so you can always get points; but it gets to be too much after a while. First of all,
I can never figure out where to post anything. They have a tutorial section, but they have a
completely different section for Photoshop tutorials. Once, I found a perfectly good tutorial (I
don't remember what it was on), but I got in there, and it said it was moved, and it...

Hey all, I've been wanting to post this topic for absolutely ages but you apparently have to be
hosted to post here... which I only get two days ago. This topic basically tells you the exact
reason I came to Trap17, by talking about my two previous hosts and why I left them. I would advise
that if you're with these hosts then LEAVE THEM NOW! Unless you want your sites to be

There are a few good points to Geocities webhosting: It is free There is no spyware/adware as far as
I know They give you a site builder You are signed up if you have a Yahoo account This is what I
don't like about Geocities: The ads are annoying The sites you create in site builder are very
unprofessional You don't get much space You don't get much bandwidth What do you like about
Geocities? What didn't you like about Geocities? Did you have a different experience? If so I
would like to hear it....

Hey peoples, after a long while of absence I've returned to T17. I have concluded that some
paid hosting servers can never beat T17. I will not mention the name of the server, unless I have a
fiat for that, but here's the conclusion: About one and a half year ago I had my site(s) hosted
at Trap 17 for about a 9 to 12 months, in this period I had all... A server wich only costs posting
on a forum, 99% uptime (I never experienced a downtime longer then 2 hours, mostly my own bad

Even though I was a little worried that I didn't have enough credits stored up when I saw
"Upgrade in progress, please come back later" on the Trap17.com forum page (I did...many times
fold), I enjoy this new upgrade and layout. Maybe I was blind before, but now we have an edit
button!! Gone are the days of submitting and realizing you spelt computer, cmoputer. A+

well i was enjoying my free hosting with trap17, the only thing missing was my own domain name,
looking around i found most domain registration places were all very similar so I decided to go with
one of the sister companies of trap17, computinghost. I must say the process was very easy and my
domain was registered very quickly, then I jumped on here and processed an application to setup my
new domain name. It was all done and within a short time my domain details had propogated through
the dns system and my website was online. it was a great experience, easy and fast...
