| | Im looking for a open-source HTML pre-processors , Ive used dreamweaver in the past but I no longer have access to it, so what im looking for is the next best thing or close to it in an open source format. Whats out there what have you guys used. Ive looked into once called Blue fish but it just doesnt seem very good. But let me knoww aht you guys have out therte or seen.. post some names and Ill search them or post some links .. thanks in advance. |

Nvu is considered to be quite good, and will run on virtually any system (Linux, Windows or Mac). Its completely free and relatively easy to use and get used to after using other WYSIWYG applications. You can download it and view screenshots on the link provided at the start. Due to some legal reasons no-one is willing to explain, the latest release is not on the Nvu site, and not under the Nvu name, but is available as KompoZer. Try it, give it a go! Its free, so you've nothing to lose

I don't know if they are similar, but Namo WebEditor 6 could possibly be a good replacement for Dreamweaver.

Html Editors Seem 'persona Non Grata'.
Problems with running HTML editors. (2) It looks like my PC has something against HTML editors. I use Coffeecup HTML Editor 2007 and I also
have Dreamweaver CS. In both cases, when I am editing web pages, whenever I switch from one task to
another, eg. after editing do a save, or do a preview or whatever, both programs (Coffeecup even to
a bigger extend) stop responding for a good while, quite often 45 secs.- 1 min minimum. You can
imagine how much time that wastes during editing, not to mention the frustration it causes. My PC
has a P4 dual core 2.8 Ghz, 1 Gb RAM, 250 Gb HDD, Win Xp SP2, the HDD is regularl....

(5) I found a good free html editor. it has no pop ups toget you to buy it. It has online support, built
in Java script, all the html tags are included all you have to do is type the opening tag ( The
software name is HTML Kit. to download it just google html kit and download it for the html kit site....

Really annoying and can't figure it out (4) Well i have been using Dreamweaver for a long time now and no problems. I tried to install it on my
new laptop and it ran fine until i opened a document. When i opened a file in the split or design

the best software for creating web site? (19) Hy there! I am creating website in dreamweaver2004. I am satisficted with it because it has got
a lot of options and all other stuff. Creating a web site was never that easy. I created my web site
in just one week. Of course its not done jet but 55% of work is done. I love create flash animation
and place it in my web site.It is a big pleasure to have a funny and interesting flash animation and
also visited web page. My opinion: Its maybe the best software for creating web sites? What do u

Which do you prefer? (45) Dreamweaver MX 2004 is probably the best program I beleive ever made. It has such simple controls
and if you know HTML and flasah you can design any web layout you want as long as you have a good
imagination. And the unique layer sytem is just amazing. When I first doewq Frontpage isa alsao a
very good program but the fact it isa not truly flasah enabled like dreamweaver is, makes it
extremly flawed.....
"server Not Responding" In Dreamweaver
(2) I'm on a dialup system, so when I use the internet I'm pretty much using all my bandwidth.
And when I want to upload a file from Dreamweaver by File>>Save to Remote Server it just sits and
spinns about the server not responding. However as soon as whatever else I'm doing on the
internet stops (or I stop it) dreamweaver picks right up and goes. Any thought on how I can fix
