There is a new windows coming out and its called Windows Longhorn. Longhorn, the code name for the
next version of Windows now being built by Microsoft, is the most powerful, most reliable, most
secure version of Windows ever. It delivers on the promise of allowing people to use their computers
more easily and confidently to achieve their goals and pursue their passions. Better graphics and
audio are among the enhancements planned for Longhorn, the next major Windows client release planned
for 2005. Similarly, customers will not see any major new Windows server release...

What do you think about the Windows Longhorn 5048 Build? I like the glass effects although it is a
bit buggy at this point, the startmenu is transpearent when the glass isnt enabled and then solid
when it is, Some programs still do not work with this build, im trying to make a list of the ones
that dont work on this build. The main bug/error that i see that really annoys me is the explorer
error that only shows 50 files, though there is a workaround. The things i miss from this release
that were in 4074 is the sidebar, and the image previews for explorer, also the slide...

XP with 6 coats of wax and OS X in mixed in. According to the screenshots, it looks like you get
more screenspace because the toolbar at the top is not so big anymore. A bad thing that will come
out of this, or so I've heard, is that Longhorn will spy on you because Microsoft wants everyone
to buy their software, so their company can grow, and Gates can get richer. Wh...

I just read about windows longhorn and i must say microsoft and the direction they are taking scares
me. They seem like they are slowly infringing on our privacy. Longhorn is going to essentially
uniquely ID you and copying a cd? that will be a thing of the past as microsoft decides that it
doesnt want users sharing media unless microsoft says its legitimate by there standards. Longhorn
sounds more bloated, slower, and more confusing than windows xp. Every other day they have some new
standard they make up that is more trouble than its worth. They say longhorn will have ...

Ive just seen some screenshots...and it looks way better than windows xp.....not as techy and
kiddish...more technical and better.....with that cool sidebar thingy.... microsoft said it might
come late 2005 or early 2006. my friend is going to buy it....

hey peeps well i have been away for a while but well something jus messed up my windows system, and
yeah if you guessed right, it was windows longhorn, its a really sexy sysytem, but you gotta be
careful, so well anyway jus letting u know longhorn is out there for grabs, if you know where to
