BitTorrent is the best for sheer volume of files and speed of download.

If you like an "atmosphere" try http://dcplusplus.sourceforge.net (DC++) which is a C++ version of Direct Connect (I dunno if the original idea is even running any more)...you connect to a hub and there's people sharing files and chatting...each person has X slots open and X GB of files...each hub has a minimum limit so if you have 100GB (like I do :-)) you don't have to put up with crap from Mr NoShare :-)

(note: I've been out of the filesharing loop for a while so I dunno what's current any more)


Also, of the 3, I would choose Kazaa...ignoring the fact that the b'stards have made it pay-only (if you have the Kazaa s/w you don't have to pay...which I do :-))

Warez works the best for me. Its really simple and it is almost 100 percent sure that the song will work while the other programs really do bad with quality songs that actually work when Warez really improves in that area.

Everyone, please stop refering to downloading illegal music. Its wrong. And for the record, my favourite P2P program is Shareaza as it connects to multiple networks and i get great dowload speeds.

If you're after albums then I suggest you try BitTorrent as the download is verified by the many users and any corruption in the file is in the source shared file and not yours as the way in which BT works your copy is guaranteed to be exactly the same as the original. Also, EDonkey is the same but not as verifiable now they've got rid of sharereactor (R.I.P.)

A nice place that NO-ONE has even dared mention yet is Internet Relay Chat...there's tons of IRC servers out there with FServe shares up...a friend of mine hosts his albums there and shares with friends easily...it's a little slower than I'd like but it's okay...nowhere near as good as DC++ for atmosphere and fileshare/search tho

i use kazaa lite but it has really gone down since it came out. I don't no which one to use now. Please can i have some advice on which one i should join. is kazaa lite+ free. if so i might think of joining them. i've never heard of limewire. is it any good?

every peer to peer engine, however is depend on howmuch user use it..
imesh is not popular as kazaa, so you might have little to share than you might have at kazaa... yea, it's depend on how many person is sharing your file to be download..
