I'm in one of the best public schools in the area. I really like my school.We have lots of nice places, the teachers are generally nice and the school listen to what the students say and think.So yes, I like my school.

It really depends. School building isn't dirty, we have an elevator, a kiosk, which is quite unusual in Germany. Teachers are OK. The school yard is relatively large.
I go to Middle School. I hate it. Lots of the kids are mean and most of the teachers "teach" you things, but you forget in 2 weeks anyway. It's worthless. I read this article at johntaylorgatto.com and I agree with what he said about how most of school makes you a bored consumer, and conforms you.
Thus, I have a few good teachers. 
Overall school in my opinion isn't that bad, you have your friends to hang out and joke around with at recess and lunch time and you have them for company during classes, sure you have to do work in class but you get used to the load and the same routine pretty much everyday... also the teachers at my school are quite friendly and funny, the only annoying part about school is when you get too much homework and when you need to study for exams! Though I'd rather to go school because there's nothing else to do, school is doing something at least with your friends, better then sitting at home doing nothing.
Talk about my school !!!!! there are lost things to say . my middle school is just so so .i think .but .because when i study in my middle school .my teacher do lost things for me and always say good to me .so in my opinon .my middle school just ok .
my teachers are pretty cool, and i hang out with my friends a lot, but im leaning towards the no side, since the tests and homework is bad.
In my opinion ,my college is well.because the spend of it is a little .but in fact ,i can study a lost things from it .and more importent .when i study in my college .i meet the theacher are all the good theacher .from then .i can get losts of good things. so .i like my college .also i like my theachers.........
It really depends, some of the kids are really annoying but some are okay, some teachers are really 'evil' but some pretty nice but I really hate the some of the tests and homework we get so I'm kinda on the 'no'.
I like school, even when I think it sucks because I know that it is going to allow me to have the life I want to lead.
hmmmmmmmmmmm my school i can say is that my school is great the teachers are not exactly teaching.(sort of) because we are dealing with webcasting from the main branch of our school and it sucks all the students are always sleepy. the problem here is that there is no interaction between the students and teachyers

I love my school. My school is working very hard to make the class room relavant to the kids coming through using academies. It's amazing to see the work that the teachers and faculty are putting into the school to try and make it a better place. It is a shame i'm going to be leaving before it's done though since this is my final year; however, i'm going to college next year and the school i'm looking at looks very cool. It's got a 30 foot rock wall and i'll also be rooming with my best friend and my other friends will be down the hall. I'm very excited.
I love my friends, whom I've met at school. I love my classes, they interest me alot (most of them), and apparently, they're good for my future plans. Therefore...necessary.
I don't like how the school has turned our lessons into longer sessions, and our lunch to a smaller session. 30 minutes is not enough time for 2 school years (400 pupils, I'll have you know) to queue up and then to sit down, eat and hopefully digest some of their food. i get bad indigestion alot. Queue jumpers don't really help either. I don't like how we're not allowed to wear a coat or jacket. The get confiscated as soon as you enter the building. There's no point in wearing coats anyway, because they don't fit over the jumpers/sweatshirts or blazers that we have to wear. They're vile. i hate them. But it's just uniform. I voted yes, because other than those couple of points, I love my school.
College seems well, its all about managing time and not postponing work or else your pretty much boned. Good advice eh? ;D
Oh, dear. In my opinion the topic is badly rolling off topic, the original discussion is not weather you like school in general, but do you like your school compared to many others?
As for me - I don't necessarily like the school I go to (I'm a senior) mostly because of lack of organization in the administration and communication between staff members and students. It's also littery because of some *very bad people*, which is also driving the administration nuts, and thus making them make harsher decisions and stricter rules, which just makes everything (including everyone's attitude toward the school even worse). Though, on the other hand, it's reeally not that bad. It actually has a lot of good sides to it, as, I am sure, any other school, you just need to discover those. 1. Cooperative staff. I really enjoy communicating with those few very helpful professors of mine, even if I don't have a class with them that year anymore - they would still do anything to help me. 2. Motivated peers. All of the people I cooperate with during the day show high motivation to the subject, or any branch of subects, which also stimulates me to perform better, though, I am really satisfied with my grades. 3. Extracurricular activities. Probably, the most important for me among the three listed above. The school offers a lot of freedom when it comes to those, and, my favorite thing, you can start any club/activity without really facing any major hardships. |
