Google is the only web search I use though on od days i would use yahoo i dont no y though lol and i would just like to say that I love trap17 even though I havent been here very long and I cant wait to get my hosting and if you wana be my frein please please pleas pm me and have a we chat with me because i get board all the time !
First of all it would be nice to know what features of Google are your favorites. Make sure you are specific in your post. For example, "I like Google because of there I'm Feeling Lucky button." Also, it's nice to hear that you like Trap17 but this isn't the place to hear it. When you create a topic make sure your post relates to that topic.
Google is great, one day Im convinced that google will run everything we own, google mp3 players, google drinks, google TV's, google mobiles it is all possible and maybe one day google will run the world as our new leader... lol anyway besides my rambling on about it, google is one of the greatest websites in the world, closely followed by trap17 and I really like gmail and google spreadsheets, one feature i really like is Google Reader which i dont use but I think it's great. Also once when i logged into google I noticed a new thing next to all my searches like a sort of "note this" link where i clicked it and it noted the link and came up on my last visit also so its a great way to keep track on where you been and where you havent been. Anyway keep on making more things google, your great
Yeah google is great because the dont have any ads that are distracting to me that are visible in other search engines for example yahoo and maybe Msn, which Im not sure bcause I dont use Msn very often, but really googles whole interface is easy to navigate through ,and they're are so many cool stuff that someone can do on their website like the new Tv section where you can watch custom made movies on their site. Also I really enjoy google Earth because you are able to look up any place in the world and see a map of that place in a matter of seconds maybe even minuets. Also, they have cool downloads like the google accelerator, which I heard is nice and free, which will speed up your internet and make it go faster, Anyway google is the best search engine ever because of those features and the many other features that I believe google has and many other search enegines are missing or do not have on their website at this time!
Everybody likes Google and I'm sure that it will stay like that as long Google keeps releasing great new tools for free like their search and mail features. A company like Microsoft or Yahoo will allways stay hunting for Google however and they might succeed in beating Google someday...
I used to view all search engines as the same. I still do but i have to admit that i have google as my start page. For one it doesnt take a long time to load due to graphics and etc like msn. Google maps is great as well i've used it several times and found its alot better then most. When i do a search im not interested in the news, weather or etc. I just want to search for what im looking for and be done with it. If i wanted to know the news i would go to the news pages.
I like google too lol. For one it started as a search engine, and has advanced into more than that. Gmail, and google spreadsheet for example. Also the vast line of programs by google including the mighty goooogle earth. google is always my first site to go to for a good search engine.
Anyday, i ll put my money and mind in google. thay simply reveloutinsed the whole www, their softwares have a unique touch of simplicity with precision. Simply superb...producing some of the finnest applications..continue growing , changing things on its way for its good. GOOGLE
Google is great. I think this is mainly down to how clean the entire site is and the way google has succeeded Being successful has allowed google to branch everywhere on the web and expand their services to cover everything from youtube to free translator, to google earth and the best search on the planet.
Also, they take a dim view of those who try to cheat their search systam and because of this is means that their system succeeds and functions well, without being snozwangled by annoying people who think their site should come up 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th in the search restults table.
The search manages to find what you want almost all of the time and is much better than the other search providers, which I havn't used in over three years. Google has everything you need right there on their home page.
And the best thing is... its free!
It it great as google is well managed and cleanly styled. These are the most important things in a search and the branches that google has made to expand the ease of use. They are constantly releasing new things as well for example; google desktop (which is great) and customisable and puts everything you want there, in a convenient place. Also google earth is a significant piece of free software 3D map. It is groundbreaking in its own right and being free just makes everything better. And really those pieces of software are certainly not the only ones google has developed for us!!! the end user. We are why they do it and the money they get from advertising allows them to continue to make great things free of charge to us
So to conclude, the best reason why google is so great is that it makes everything convenient, good looking and covers most of the web things that people use. but the most important thing is that the services remain free. As in another thread here at trap17, we all concluded that a lot of people would stop using google if it were to suddenly need subscriptions and cost.
i like the way they always use spell-check to change my imput phrase. I always know, that no matter how ridiculously typoed my search query was, Google will always know exactly what i want. -- it's like he's pyschic...
Google is nice search engine, I like it very much! Good and clean results of search, fast and simple - its all about Google. Also, thx google for gmail and other services.
Google is the choice of many users, its simply great. Mine also favorite is Google. I like most the Google videos. I find Videos in this which I like. You can also try this. one more interesting product of the Google is the Orkut. In this you can make friends and can send messages, you can even talk to them also. Hope you will try Orkut and enjoying this.
Google has been the leading search engine for many years now, it makes me wonder how one out of what
seems like a million different search engines could stand out so much to the point where very few of
us would consider using something else. What I am curious about, is what search engines did people
use before the invasion of Google? I remember using a site called Metacrawler and that it
wasn't the most effective thing ever for what I was looking for, but it worked nonetheless. I
remember using yahoo too but again, it wasn't that refined back then either. Pos...
when i was in 5th grade, which was 5 years ago, this was right when google first came out i think...
anyways, i remember my 5th grade teacher telling me that the word google was the biggest number
possible and that it was bigger than infinity. Back then i believed it but then you really think
about it, how is a number even possibly bigger than infinity if infinity goes on FOREVER? and is
googe EVEN a number????? anybody know?...

powers of google) to google.co.uk. Which is what I want it to do (being from the Uk) but recently it
just stopped doing this and its an effort have to click the link to google.co.uk or actually typing
in the right adress. Does anyone no how to restore the magical google powers?...
Yesterday, there was friends of my parents that went at our home to eat. They talked about google
and stuff like google earth. When you enter your ZIP/postal code in google earth, they know it and
they write it down. This mean that they are writting a HUGE database about everyone and soon, they
will send robots to control us! they will know alot of things about you and me... Do you
agree?(Vote in the poll and leave a comment)...

Google is on an acquisition spree. Over the last few days, it has acquired Panoromio and feed
burner. What does this mean? Well Panoromio mainly was used in Google Earth to show pics anywhere in
the world at the location taken while feedburner is aRSS feeds utility. But did Google make the
right choice. How long is it gonna continue making such aquisitions? It has gotten into a huge legal
turmoil with youtube. And it paid Doubleclick a ridiculously huge amount. Is Google gonna benefit
from these takeovers. Share your thoughts....
Now, do you think that there is a better search engine out there? Or do you think it's GOOGLE?
And do you think Google is against yahoo and all the other search engines? To me, I kinda like the
search engine dogpile... It may not have a lot of search results, but that's ok. It has the best
search engines all piled up into one! ( visit Dogpile.com )...
hello guys, i dont know much about seo system, but i heard google crawls any website after 1

Google has become a huge success through these past years. They have grown from a simple company on
the corner of the market to a leader in its industry. It keeps comming with new ideas that blows
their competetion out of the water. This growth from Google is makeing Microsoft a little affraid.
Though Microsoft is the leader of the computer world, it has not reached out to become a leader on
the internet, like Google has. Now Google is the leader of the internet world, and also adapts
itself to its users with programs and services that ignore what operating system its sy...
Have you guys seen Google's logo today. As a part of Earth Day they have given an entirely new
colour to google. It is sooooo coooooooooool literally. Showing a frozen Google Ice berg. Wonder
where they come up with these ideas. I simply love them...
Personally, I use google for most things over yahoo and all those. Maybe it's just a habit or
maybe I just think it's good...(which it is) but with image search and all the other links,
It's good....

"Yes! I'm listed" was my initial response when searching google for: computer.trap17.com :
And there it was, my link in the Google Search Engine. What was remarkable was how my site was
indexed in one day when my site had no posts and a disgusting template. I was ecstatic and hoping
this was a beginning of something good to come. So I started making my site better. I got a
template, some members, and one month later there is my site. With 2100 posts and 5 members. I felt
proud of the job I had done and thought to myself. If I can get indexed in google in one da...

Well it seems google search engine will get a big update when people begin using the search engine.
When a person checks the results of what they entered, they now have the option to check if
video's exsist but instead the video will be within the search query. So basically instead of
clicking all over the place everything will be intertwined within each other, they also plan to
include a gmail link up on top of the search results. Which means new people can sign up for a
