| | Well you can expect a new brand of computers to be out in stores very soon. The third largest computer making company Lenovo Group Ltd is coming out with their own brand of computers including desktops starting at just $350 and laptops at $599. They plan to be the next IBM but hopefully bigger. They are a China based company and their commercial during the Olympics helped become known world wide. Their plan is to start selling computers online and around China and maybe in retail stores around the world. Their laptops will be about 6.5 pounds and silver, with a 3 in 1 Wi-Fi card inside. They sound like they could be the next dell but maybe bigger. It ought to be interesting to see how they come out into the computer world.

Ever heard of the IBM ThinkPad? It's now called the Lenovo ThinkPad. That's right, Lenovo IS the next IBM. They purchased IBM's PC unit for a cool 1.75 billion dollars in June of last year. Lenovo is a Chinese hardware development company. From PCs to cell phones. So, in addition to IBM's hardware, they will be adding their own to the equation as well. This could make for some quite good PCs and notebooks. You can read up on the following links for more information about Lenovo and the acquisition of the IBM PC dept. In reality will there be so much changes? The first post link is not found anymore. I couldn't read if the new laptops are any different from the previous IBM thinkpads.

They have their line of already developed ThinkPad notebooks and ThinkCentre desktops, but you can be 100% sure they will start making them a little differently. They have their own technology and ideas to work with as well as IBM's now. So, most of the current and older models are still essentially IBM desktops and notebooks.. but they've already begun making different systems.

Ok of all the brand name computer companies out there which one do you think is the best. I know
myself that building your own custom system is the most economic and likely the best way to buy a
computer, but if you were offered the choice of all the top brand names which one would you choose
and what makes it better than all the others. I have owned Dell, Compaq, IBM and an EMachine. In my
opinion the Dell was the best. The Dell was inexpensive to buy and was a quite stable system. The
Dell also had very little upgadability though, but man did it look sweet! The Co...

hello guys!...this holidays i met an uncle of mine that told me he was interested in buying some

full or simply closed and the dsl phone line used to get the conection is from the whole house. So
my uncle's question was "Is there a way to buy good computers, cheap and new?". And well what
he wants to do is just to catch some clients when my other uncle closes his business...
The Future Of Computer's Games

Hello, this topic could be in other subforums, but i want to talk about the hardware that is needed
to stay in the line of new games, I know that with a computer we can do more thinks like a console
(ps2, xbox, etc), but some people like me have a computer for only 2 things, 1. Internet 2. Games
So, thinking in the cost of building a game ready computer, I think that at the moment (thinking
that 64bit software is some far) is better to buy a console to play games, like a PS2 or the
expected PS3, and a budget computer to other things, this way is cheaper, and i think...

Best Cpu
- Computers (16)
What do you think the best cpu is? According to what i have tried and heard AMD is way more powerful
than pentium. I heard that AMD gives you its full power for maximum efficiency while pentium gives
you about 80%-89% full power. This is why for all of you that have AMDs you better have a huge fan
for it or it will over heat. Has any one else found something odd about any cpu chips?...
