i think this is sorta stupid, because for one i am sure alot of people still download music illeagly(not saying i do). I guess if your a person who worries about this then there u go
Have you tried it? I think the trick is, after you end the 14-day trail, you are automaticly put in the service, so you have to end up putting ur credit card # in though. I think napsters going to stay legit for a long time though... I think RIAA is all over them still.
I dont think i have ever downloaded a song that was illegal. everyone i know downloads them illegally. But i guess everyone i know is just plain stupid.

With most of these kinds of things, they'll charge you unless you cancel before the end of your trial. So think of it as a 13 day trial and cancel on the 14th day.

(maybe because I used to have a slow connection  ) But I got tired of never hearing anything new because I am too poor to buy cds. The quality of a lot of them is good enough to get you by until you can save up the money to buy the real cd.
I used to download illeagley from Kazaa basiclly cause i didnt know what i was doing. Of course at that time i was in 5th grade
 . I was a nerd. Later on i heard about the lawsuits and you would never catch me on Kazaa dead. LOL.
Kazaa will mess up your computer anyways. I always prefer having the real cd anyways.. I'll burn cds then lose the burned cds. It always happens. If I buy the real cd, I won't lose it and it will sound better. So I buy the cd, then rip it to my computer! Then I can listen to it whenever I want to on my computer.
 i have always used winmx its fast and realiable and its free and leagal i have down load songs like lost prophets,greenday,all american rejects,tenasious d and stuff like that you can also download pictures and videos

Then I can listen to it whenever I want to on my computer. if you download music you can listen to it on your computer whenever you want as well.  i have never illegally downloaded music, sure i have download 100's of songs and movies from p2p networks like kazaa and limewire, but here in the freedom land of Canada, sharing your purchased information is completly legal. So any canadain who downloads music is free from persecution as well as the cd charge. Once napster died when it was cut off for allowing access to songs, it died. noone wants to pay for music online that they can get for free. Latest Entries
There's a new thing the record companies (or just one I can't really remember) have, its like the p2p stuff but is run by the record companies and they let you download the songs.
Very uncharacteristic of record companies isn't it the site is qtrax.com. its basically songbird with a few tweaks, and its not out on mac yet 
Wait, you can download real discs by known bands/singers or discs by bands/singers no-one knows? If it's the second, it is not really worth it, I guess.
